There is no waking this man up once he's asleep - I have literally pushed him off the bed to try to wake him - he still sleep - woke up on the floor wondering how he got there.

I have that problem with Steven too. A ringing phone does not wake him up. I think his body developed that ability to sleep through loud noises due to his proximity to Scrub a Dub and the church where they tend to have late night revivals. Sometimes it's hard for us to talk from all the noise coming from those two places.

I bought DJ one - didn't read the instructions first - we were reading it - something like 20 min of cranking gives you ONE minute of talk time, lol - The crank flashlights are great though -

I was looking at that... the one I looked at gave 5 minutes talk time for 3 minutes of cranking

There was one that ran on 1 AA battery that said it gave up to 2 hours talk time

Belwin, I went to Dave Ramsey's site (cause I hear about him so much) and did the comparison of my plan & his plan. I was quite surprised to see how low he estimated my savings to be at age 65, so I read the explanation of how the estimate is made:

We calculate what your financial future will look like based upon what the average American's financial plan looks like. The majority of Americans (a whopping 70%) are living paycheck to paycheck! Most Americans have debt with payments at an average 15% interest rate. We gather your info based on what you tell us about your situation: income, savings, rent/mortgage payments, and any debts that you list. If you have savings, we let that accumulate by simple addition. Finally, we subtract any remaining debt that you'll have after the age of 65.

So the estimate does not account for 401k matches (that wasn't a question) nor does it account for interest/dividends earned on savings. I guess this was only mean to be a VERY simply calculation, but I don't like that it was so misleading. If I hadn't performed previous analysis of my situation, and went by that calculator on his site, I wouldn't have really thought to check the fine print.

Anyway, I'll still read around more at his site, because everyone I know who listens to & likes Dave Ramsey, REALLY likes him. I meant to get his book a while ago. I think I didn't because he talks about debt a lot & I have no debt.

I'm not working today, and have no plans for the weekend (yeah my social life sucks right now ) I plan on packing up...and going to pick out paint colors for my new apt. Thanks JaE...I agreed to let him come to the wedding because she was more important to me than proving that I still can't stand the sight of him. As far as A...he has already made up his mind. He doesn't like him at all, or what he has done to my sister. He sid bab you know I don't deal with phockery...your sister deserves so much more than he is giving her. I could let everything go if he wasn't still doing things to tear her down...and she continues to make excuses for his behavior like a battered woman. That is the ONLY thing he hasn't put her through. It makes me sick to my stomach...and I feel so responsible.

Well I'm glad to know how you really feel sis. I'm so glad you and A have this magnificant relationships (NOW). You and he are truly blessed.

As for your feeling for D and us coming to the wedding. I definitely don't want to spoil your day but I do want to be there for you. I also feel it's important for my husband and myself to be around other happy and powerful couples so that we can continue to improve our marriage. If you don't want us to come, I understand.

As for everyone on here I've prayed about my decision and I'm letting God guide me. So judge all you want I'm not a battered woman not mentally or phyically and I don't owe anyone an explantion for my life.
