Sorry NatPat...I don't think so. I may come on to read the guides for AOS/ROC...but I won't be a yardie poster anymore. I'm tired of being the underdog...the person everyone loves to hate because I post something that makes people think or maybe a little uncomfortable. I'm tired of hearing about the private PMs discussing what I post and how rude it was or xyz...I'm tired of dealing with fakeness and sometimey friendships. I can't stand cowardice. Those that I am truly friends with know who they are...and they know that I will always be a phone call away.

Right now, I am posting because A is not here...I'm sitting in a boring training class for another 4 weeks...so why not.

Well I’m guilty I use private PM but its not to talk a bout anyone for sey I only use it if there is something personally going on in my life and well I don’t want to share with the whole board so those yardies I feel a little closer to I’ll talk to them off line. For example when I was going through my situation with Roc there were some more intimate details I shared with some ladies I felt closer too or you all know my sense of humor can be a little much so if one of you say something and I want to turn it into a twisted joke I’ll PM the person so not t o offend anyone with my adult humor.

As far as attacking others. No If anyone was to pull my PM’s they would be strictly about my or their business. Well most of them…

The one thing I have always liked about you Jawi was you do keep it real and its so hard to find others like you. Whether we want to hear it or not you spill it the same way I am and some people cant take it hence my e-mail group. If you say something I don’t like I’m calling you on it and I expect you to do the same to me. I just had a group of friends or what I thought were friends with the same connection but I found out a few of them behinds the scenes didn’t like my comments and instead of telling me about it they discussed it between each other and well now such is life we are friends no more. But I think like Tyler Perry said some people are just seasons they just come in our life to serve a purpose and then there season it up. Its us who try to make them permanent. I think those girls were brought in my life to show me JA and get me to come more out my shell and live life a little. They did help me through some difficult times and I learned a lot from them and I will be forever thankful I’m truly a changed person.

Jawi I hope your not a season but if you do decide to leave I think you were brought in my life to give me some new ideas. For this I am a new person too…No that‘s not all you meant to me chica you mean so much more but you know I had to end this paragraph with a Dada statement .LOL

this site is fun....for me, it is more entertainment than anything else. yes, i have gotten some great and valuable advice here. the site and all of you who were around when i first filed were instrumental in helping me do the paperwork and getting through it. i try to offer advice to anyone who is going through something i went through. i enjoy reading all of your posts.

but at the end of the day, vj really has no impact on my life. if anyone wan talk shyt about me, go ahead, i am big ooman, i can take it...

I'm on page 102, but finesse is KILLING ME. I'm so glad I have my own office, so people can't hear me laughing.

I also am clueless about what Jawi is talking about, about the private PMs. I only get PMs telling me 1) Steven & I look good together (Yes, thank you. ), 2) Questions about the process, and 3) well wishes from people who have been following my progress. No drama PMs here!

when you really check it out, it boils down to less than 20 regular posters, estimating roughly

its probably 2 or 3 ppl talking sh!t and if that's the case, they are entitled to their opinion

i'm kinda disappointed, i was hoping the yardie thread would be different but ah so it go

For the most part, at least they aren't as in your face as the MENA posters are. I would not make a good MENA GF or wife ever!

I think MsTee's issue is/are that she is helpless right now with MIL barging in and taking over. Those on the Yardie thread are at least a little in control of what is happening. It's got to be really frustrating for her. Sometimes stepping away from something that reminds you of something unpleasant (like her helplessness) is best to deal with it. Hopefully, she will be back when we can help her or she needs to vent or whatever.

You hit the nail on the head about that JG!

I didn't see any real attacks on her. But, I can sense her helplessness. Wish there was something I could do to help her. Really hope she figures it all out.

Missed this part of the post - I agree with Island too, definitely the sooner the better - Sorry for the loss - I am with A on funerals too - I have a really hard time with them.

Yeah. I only attend funerals for REALLY close relatives; fortunately not too many have died. After seeing this play (Ashes to Africa) I told my family/friends that I want my body cremated & the ashes spread over Western Africa. They gave me this smiley look:
