Does anyone have a link to the older version of G325A? I just don't want to get RFE'd because I used the newer form. Oh, man. That doesn't make sense at all. But the instructions are so misleading!

I'm only going to send in the new form - 1 page - when I have to AOS - to see what happens. :)

Please report back whether you have the same font problem with the year fields in the residence and employment history sections that I and the Adobe tech support people had. You can always write the years by hand but there's apparently a font problem with the form as currently produced.

will do

but from other threads - looks like we have some other victims testers before I get to that point.....

I just checked on my laptop (using acrobat pro 8) and I am not seeing any issues with the year fields in the sections you are seeing with the new form. Have a screen shot?

(I am seeing the clipping error in the date field for the signature - looks like they made the "fill in" box to small for the field size)

I'm using Acrobat Standard V. 9. You can duplicate what I'm seeing by typing too many characters in any field. It shows a plus sign at the far end of the field.

Ah - that is a feature though, not an error, it's suppose to do that. It appears they didn't limit the amount of characters in the box (with the font they picked), and acrobat allows it to scroll with the +.

(but then again, most of the forms send the data electronically, so going over the box size doesn't matter, but will matter if you attempt to print them out.) -

Simple fix would be to add a limit of characters and put in the instructions "if you need more space, attach a seperate sheet"

I will add that to my email I'm sending them about this form. Thanks for the heads up.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I realize that's a feature and understand the purpose for it. The new form gives this same result when you type the correct number of characters in the correct format in the year fields of those two sections. It does this because the default font in those fields is too big. It's bigger than the font in the field for the birth date.

There's the rub. Don't know of a link but if you'll PM me an email address, I'll email you the one I use. It's been altered to allow data to be saved.

Called them again - and they said the same thing, again.

One sheet is the new requirement, and we know the website is outdated...

I mentioned the problems with the form (length of fields) and they said they would pass it on...
