Still waiting for biometrics, 10 days since NOA1... **

Fear not, I'm in the same position and our timings are almost synchronous.

Keep the faith :)

I'm in the same boat...date on NOAs is 08/19 and I am still waiting for my biometrics letter. I can see that my cases were touched on 8/24, so I hope for a letter either tomorrow or Monday :-)

Ugh... no update on my RFE respond yet, I was hoping so much it will be on Friday, and now I'm upset. I wanted to do a walk-in biometrics tomorrow, cuz my original appointment is 2 weeks away,pretty late from the NOA1 date, and I really want to work. I didn't want to confuse biometrics and RFE, and hoped they would update my RFE status by friday and resume the case(or at least send another RFE:), and I would go do a walk-in without doubts. Now I'm concerned...should I do a walk-in while the case is not resumed yet?

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

Our NOA for adjustment of status has "received date" of Aug 13.

"Notice date" Aug 18.

No letter yet indicating what date the biometrics appointment is scheduled.

I got my biometrics appointment today. If I want to do it on a walk in basis, do i need to call and check first? Or just go there? Do i need to explain WHY i want to do it earlier? Does an early walk in biometrics result in faster processing of the documents? Or they will not "touch" my case until the scheduled date? Thanks

I just got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail and it is scheduled for 09/24 at 3 pm!

And I have the same question as Aquarelka :-) I'd like to just do a walk-in on Wednesday, but am not quite sure if this will be okay? Office is in Austin, TX.

Just checked my mail box and there was my interview letter, I was shocked!! How can I get an interview letter in less than a month of filing? Plus I thought EAD and AP are supposed to come through before interview.

08/04/09- AOS package sent(Day 1)

08/05/09- Package received (Day 2)

08/10/09- NOAs for i485, 765,130 and 131 (Day 7)

08/15/09- Biometrics letter received (for 09/09/09) (Day 12)

08/20/09- Walk-In Biometrics (Day 17)

08/21/09- LUD for I-485 and I-765 (Day 18)

08/31/09- Interview letter received for 09/28/09 (Day27)

09/24/09- EAD Card production ordered (Day 51)
