I just checked my on-line status and its's my I-485 was touched today and in stage "Document Production or Oath Ceremony" with the text:

"On November 16, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a green card) or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, refugee travel documents or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

Hello! My interview went fine yesterday. It went smooth. Our appointment was 1:30pm, we were there at 1:05pm and was called at 1:20pm.

The IO was a lady and her last name is Poolpol. She swore us in, asked us to show her our licenses, passports, birth certificates, my SSC, and EAD card. She then proceeded to hit me the questions on my application.

Then she asked if there's anything that we could add on file, then I gave the bundle of copies of our evidences. She then asked if we have a picture or an album, then I gave her the album. She put our papers on the file, then she looked at the album and took 3 pictures, 1 is a pic of me and my husband in time square NYC, 1 is us again w/ my parents eating, 1 is us again w/ my parents and aunt eating :huh:

After that, she asked about my visa status, I said a came in here in the US in H4 then changed to F1. She then asked me to write down the schools where I've studied.

She asked if I'm studying right now, I said I stopped this August due to financial problems. (I hope it won't be a problem :mellow: )

She then went out of the room and made copies of my license, EAD, and SSN (she doesn't want my copy -_- ).

When she came back, she said everything is all good, "you're married more than two years, you would get a 10-year green card".

We shaked her hand and said thank you very much. She walked with us out of her room to the hall way, back to the waiting area.

Officer Poolpol was the one who also interviewed my husband when he was getting his naturalization last June. She is quite a fast interviewer. All the time when she asked me something, she's just looking at my file, taking notes, checking with her red pen, and flipping the pages.

When I got home, I noticed that she took my I-94, and I-485 online status is touched "11-17-09" but there's no update :unsure:

Hi Inna, Thank you. She is doing fine and getting bigger. The interview was fine I didn't get the approval on the same day. It looks like she need to see my husband's former wife's death certificate. I will explain you in detail in the new post. Take care.

Hello All,.

Finally it's my turn to describe the big day experience. My interview was at 7.30 AM we started around 4.00 AM and reached there 15 mins early. My baby was crying and we were pacifying her until we were called in. We were called in around 8 .15 and that I.O was a lady she asked us to sworn in. She was'nt friendly enough and no greetings and no smile at all.

She asked my birth certificate and affidavits for not available birth certification. I showed the originalos.

My daughter's birth certiifcate

Our marriage certificate and I provided the one Court gave us but then she was asking not this one I wanted a marriage licence from court. I never heard any IO officer asking the marriage licence and not the certificate but thank god I had them on the file.

Previous day when I was arranging the folders I found this piece of paper and thought that was not needed but then for some reason I kept it in the extra copy folder which was really useful. I gave her I-693 medical vaccination record though I have submitted with the application but that time I was 30wks pregnant. So no vaccination was provided to me.

I took them last week after 8 weeks of postpartum. She asked my DOB and Phone number and asked to verify the signature. She asked my husband's passport she didn't want to see any of our joint bank a/c or insurnace or mortgage documents none of them she wanted to see.

She asked my husband why did you guys divorced and remarried ? My husband replied we had misunderstanding then we realised and got back together. Its all worked out and we had been always living together. (We got married Nov 17 2004 almost 5 years back but got divroced some time in 2007 and were seperated for 14 months and got remarried in early 2009)

The only document we didn't have was my husband's former wife death certificate. She was killed in an car accident. I.O wanted to see them and she said assuming that you are going to send that death degree and I am going to approve you will get a conditional green card since you guys been remarried for less than 2 years.

She was explaining the stuff how to remove the condition and she gave us a piece of paper that explains us to submit the death certificate with translation within 30 days . We reached home and then my husband went back to work and found the death certificate online. Thank god now all of the birth and death records can be found in online in India. He was exteremly happy and had them print out and made a cover letter which explains to her everything.

We are going to send them tomorrow with the confirmation mail. This where we are now and hoping the best. Thank you for all of your support and help.

Mine was a No Decision too on the interview day, sure enough next day they had approved it. From your experience it looks similar to mine, just that I came on F1 then converted to H1 and she wanted to verify my H1 petition papers. I am sure soon you would see the approved status.

Thank you Rahul. I haven't received any mail from USCIS but we were informed that she will only approve when she receives the death certificate. We sent them today and hoping to receive the card before Christmas. Thanks a lot for all of your support.

09/03/2009 --- Received Biometrics letter appt dt. 09/25/2009.

09/04/2009 --- Walk-in biometrics done today. Everything went off well in 30 mins.

09/15/2009 --- Received RFE for NABC

09/18/2009 --- Responded to RFE

09/25/2009 --- Case resumed.

10/04/2009 --- EAD Card Production Ordered

10/12/2009 --- I-131 Advance Parole approved notice and EAD Received

10/19/2009 --- Interview Letter Received for November 19th 2009 at 7.30 AM

11/18/2009 --- Interview Done

11/18/2009 --- I - 485 Touched and I-130 Touched.

12/04/2009 --- Card Production Ordered.

12/17/2009 --- Green Card Arrived and Welcome letter received.

09/16/2011 --- 1-751 Applied for removing conditions

09/27/2011 --- NOA and biometrics received

10/12/2011 --- Biometrics taken

01/27/2012 --- I-551 Stamped for One year

06/22/2012 --- 10yr GC production ordered.

06/28/2012 --- Green Card Received.

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

09/15/2011- Biometrics appointment issued for 10/05

11/21/2011- Card production ordered.
