YAY, just got my 10 year Green Card in the mail! Thank God i dont have to renew in 2 years!

Good luck to everyone, the end is near :thumbs: and well worth it!

but i m sorry to say that u need to apply for removing conditions after two years, they just did a mistake on your card!

Actually the 10-yr GC is expected if you have been married 2 years or more. According to pinayangelus's timeline, the marriage occurred more than 2 years ago, so there is no need to remove conditions.

oh yes i didnt see that they were married for that long!! sorry pinayangelus i was wrong!

I have a question in our case my husband and I were married before he got his citizenship. How that works? But we have married for an year now. So I guess I might get 10 yr green card becas his marital status was married when he got his citizenship.

Actually we were married on the year 2004 but we were legally seperated for an year and again got remarried on 2008. Now we have 5 week old baby daughter at home. We will take her to the interview.

Let us see how things goes on 10yr GC.

08/31/2009 --- Checks are cashed today.

08/31/2009 --- Received NOA for I-130,I-131, I-485&I-765 (Notice date : 08/29/09)

09/03/2009 --- Received Biometrics letter appt dt. 09/25/2009.

09/04/2009 --- Walk-in biometrics done today. Everything went off well in 30 mins.

09/15/2009 --- Received RFE for NABC

09/18/2009 --- Responded to RFE

09/25/2009 --- Case resumed.

10/04/2009 --- EAD Card Production Ordered

10/12/2009 --- I-131 Advance Parole approved notice and EAD Received

10/19/2009 --- Interview Letter Received for November 19th 2009 at 7.30 AM

11/18/2009 --- Interview Done

11/18/2009 --- I - 485 Touched and I-130 Touched.

12/04/2009 --- Card Production Ordered.

12/17/2009 --- Green Card Arrived and Welcome letter received.

09/16/2011 --- 1-751 Applied for removing conditions

09/27/2011 --- NOA and biometrics received

10/12/2011 --- Biometrics taken

01/27/2012 --- I-551 Stamped for One year

06/22/2012 --- 10yr GC production ordered.

06/28/2012 --- Green Card Received.

thank you rahul. i want to know one thing is what is meaning of National Benefit center.my parents case is over there. which i cannot access in the progress time.also don't know if they interviewed my parents what documets to present.

It's so cool that tonite I got email from USCIS that they ordered production of my green card (I-485) already and will come in next 30 days. So quick because I don t need the interview (my case has been transferred to CSC), and I ve just applied for I-485 on 08/29/2009. So happy now :D

I only got one touch on 10/22. That was the first and so far last touch ever on the I-485 and also on the I-130!

My I-130 was approved before I receive my Interview letter, maybe they're updating the I-485 before I come into the Interview so that the IO will approve my case immediately :D (well, hopefully).
