Huong,

A "walk-in" is when you go to do your biometrics before your appointment scheduled date. I have read that it accelerates the process although I am not sure. Some of the offices don´t allow it, I guess it depends on how busy the office is. But I just don´t feel like waiting till Oct 8th!!

Unfortunately I have not heard anything after my walk-in biometrics on 09/02 yet either. I am getting a little impatient :-/ I know that 2 weeks are not that long yet, but it would be nice to see they are working on it anyway.

Hi Bigbubble,

OOh, thank you for your patience to explain me. For us we will wait the appointment date Oct08th. Last nite I asked my husband when he came home from work how far from our house to the USCIS and he said just 45 minutes. So that is fine, he will take a day off to take me there.

I wish you and me best of luck!

have a great day!

Hi,

Just wondering if any August filers had their files transferred to CSC and also didn't receive their biometrics prior to that event (or just never received biometrics after roughly 1 month of AOS NOA).

Likewise we had our EAD and AP approved already but no biometrics.

Please see out post at: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry3305214

Just curious to see if anyone else out there.

We called into NSC and received a reference number.

Hi richa!

I don´t know why you didn´t get both. Probably they started to work on your moms application but i am sure you will get your dads soon. I also received the biometrics for I485 and AP, but not for EAD, and I have no idea why. Who knows!

Ok, I need your help, co-August filers .. got an RFE last friday .. and we still can't figure this out

So my husband annual income, based on his paystubs, is $24k. But his Federal income tax return for the past 3 years is below the poverty line which is $18,212 for household of two.

- what we've understand is that we need another sponsor.

So my husband's brother-in-law is willing to sponsor, and we are all living in the same house. So me and my husband is living with my husband's sister, brother-in-law, and their 2 children. Me and my husband are not their dependents and vice versa.

My husband as my petitioner, does he needs to add them(his sister, his b-i-l, his niece and nephew) on "g. number 21" on the I-864? What would be the total household size that my husband should put on "h. number 21"?

Does my husband's brother-in-law would be a joint sponsor or household member? What form will he fill-up?
