By the way, how can you check your money fee is cashed out by USCIS, because we sent by money order by USPS express mail is there anyway for me to check if USCIS cashed out the money...

I sent the paperwork the same day as you did and I still didnt receive the NOA either...but I don´t think we need to worry yet as I saw some other timelines where they waited 10-12 days to get it. I am expecting to get it this week though, if not I will start to panic :)

hey guys i just wanted to get your opinion about my husband loosing his job.

our interview is coming up in a month and well he lost his job july 2009 and we decided to carry on with our AOS application anyways. we have a joint sponsor who makes well above the poverty line. my husband has been looking for a job ever since and right now he hasnt had any offers.

- do you think that this will affect the decision of the interviewer, will they ask questions about that?

- he is on employment checks but its not a lot, do you think this will matter to them?

i'm still waiting on my EAD because i also want to get a full time job, but i havent recieved anything yet. man, i'm stressing :crying: !!!!

Hi everybody,

I sent my file on august 31st and it reaches at chicago on 2nd september but after that i am keep checking my bank account they didn't cash the check and also i send package with cerified return recipt but i didn't get that gree postcard back.

is anybody think is something wrong i did? why i didn't received gree post card back it is already 7 days that they got my package.

I tried to do the walk-in biometrics yesterday morning at Baltimore ASC.

Unfortunately, ughh! they're very unfriendly <_<

The lady in the front desk told me that I could only do a walk-in biometrics if I miss the appoinment :huh2:

So, I pleased her, but she said NO :angry: It is not busy at all at the time I arrived, there were only 8 of us in there :huh:

I drove almost an hour, so early, just to try this walk-in bio, but then.. :cry:

Wow, pinayangelus, that was so fast! Don't be nervous, it will be good!

cHiQy, that's a bummer. I am sorry they were so unfriendly and didn't let you do the walk-in. I wonder why they do that. It doesn't seem to be a problem at all in other ASCs. So now you'll have to wait til 9/26 and go for your original appointment? I'm sorry!

Bad luck! My local ASC were very angry at me pitting my chances to try and get the walk in biometrics, which is understandable but the lady agreed to do it anyway for which I was very grateful. I went very early also, there was about 3 people ahead of me all told.

Hey cHiQy! Sorry to hear that you were refused! But don't even worry about it, I took my bimetrics 2 weeks early and it made NO difference I waited till like one week after my ORIGINAL biometrics appointment to recieve anything back from uscis!

So please don't worry it's better that way, LOL not too much more waiting, I hated waiting for those 3 weeks!

OMG, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS:

Just got an e-mail from CRIS saying that my EAD card production was ordered! I didn't even think you could get approved so fast after the biometrics, after a WEEK. I wasn't expecting that at all for at least 2-3 weeks. I hvent started looking for a job or anything lol

CHIQY, I'm sorry they didn't let you do a walk-in, but if it makes you feel better: I've noticed a tendency that a lot of people who go to a bio appt on time get their EAD and interview letter shortly after the appt, so keep your hopes up! I'm sure it will work out well!

Pinayangelus, congrats with the interview letter, I think you have sufficient evidence! Either way, you don't have a SSN yet, so they can't accuse you of not having much evidence without one.

thanks inna... thats a good way of putting it. i've never had a SSN cuz i've been an f-1 visa student since 2005 and i was just a straight student, never was able to work on that visa, and never applied for the OPT.

OMG, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS:

Just got an e-mail from CRIS saying that my EAD card production was ordered! I didn't even think you could get approved so fast after the biometrics, after a WEEK. I wasn't expecting that at all for at least 2-3 weeks. I hvent started looking for a job or anything lol

CHIQY, I'm sorry they didn't let you do a walk-in, but if it makes you feel better: I've noticed a tendency that a lot of people who go to a bio appt on time get their EAD and interview letter shortly after the appt, so keep your hopes up! I'm sure it will work out well!

Pinayangelus, congrats with the interview letter, I think you have sufficient evidence! Either way, you don't have a SSN yet, so they can't accuse you of not having much evidence without one.

07/16/02 -- Decided to start a long distance relationship.

01/09/04 -- Finally met him in person when he visited me in London, UK.

June & Dec 04 -- Visited him in Los Angeles, CA.

07/10/05 -- Arrived in the U.S. on F-1 Visa.

07/18/05 -- Got married in Las Vegas, NV.

01/08/09 -- Visited London, UK with him.

06/12/09 -- My graduation, F-1 Visa expires in 60 days.

07/30/09 -- Sent off I-485 and I-130 TODAY!

08/02/09 -- Delivered to Chicago Lockbox @ 9.35pm.

08/05/09 -- Checks cashed.

08/08/09 -- Recieved 4 NOA-1's (I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765).

08/11/09 -- Recieved Biometrics Appointment for 08/28/09 @ 10am.

08/13/09 -- Early (Walk-In) Biometrics taken today.

08/28/09 -- Original Biometrics Appointment.

09/08/09 -- Recieved Interview Appointment in Los Angeles, CA for 10/09/09 @ 9.45am.

09/15/09 -- EAD card production ordered.

09/16/09 -- AP document approval notice sent.

09/22/09 -- AP document recieved.

09/22/09 -- EAD approval notice recieved.

09/23/09 -- EAD recieved.

09/24/09 -- Applied for SSN.

10/02/09 -- Recieved SSN in the mail.

10/09/09 -- Interview Appointment in Los Angeles, CA @ 9.45am. APPROVED

10/15/09 -- Green card production ordered.

10/16/09 -- Recieved I-485 and I-130 Approval/Welcome letter.

10/21/09 -- Green Card recieved, IN HAND.
