Hi guys i went to my biometrics appointment august 27

i got a letter september 1st stating this!!! Current Status: Card production ordered.

On September 1, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

On September 2, 2009,Current Status: Approval notice sent.

we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

Hi Bluehills. In most cases, biometrics letter is recieved within 10 days after the NOA recieving date. Your biometrics most likely won't be till after a 2-3 weeks after your bio issue date. If the date will be a little after your estimated delivery date, maybe you should go there on the scheduled date after you give birth, so that there is no risk of complications when driving 2.5 hours ona way and back. Is it a boy or a girl?

Hi Inna, Thank you. I have received biometrics letter today for Sep 25 and my due date is sep 20th. So I am thinking to take risk tomorrow with my husband driving to Jacksonville and I was really not convinced to reschedule my biometrics date.

BTW its a girl and first baby so we are really excited to welcome her to the world.

Since my biometrics appt is 3 weeks far and I am going to make it tomorrow. Do you think it's possible? I did see you did it early as well. Thank you.

i took my biometrics early, on Aug 13th and my original biometrics app was Aug 28th.

i still can't look up any of my cases online, says "validation error".

i havent recieved any letters/approvals/cards/interview dates.

*SIGHS* i just hope i can do all these things soon, i HATE the waiting esp. because i cant even look it up online, its killing me !

Hey Pinayangelus, I'm sorry for your troubles with the website, I guess they have some kind of issue with their electronic system, I've read a dozen other posts (from different times)where people could not add their cases on-line because of some kind of error..

Try calling customer service again, but often times they are helpless

You don't usually recieve anything in mail regarding how your biometrics went or anything. And within EAD timeframe, you are fine, you shouldn't start worrying at all, it can take up to 2 months to process after the bio appt, but I'm sure you will get an approval sooner than that. Just try to relax, I would try not to worry about your EAD for 1-2 more weeks...

BTW,I read on USCIS website that they are updating their website and enchancing different on-line systems for the customers on September 22nd, and maybe your cases will show up then.. Also, the posting mentions that text masseges will become an option for recieveng updates from CRIS, will see!

I just saw your post and can tell you that the number you shall use to check online is your application number on your biometric appointment letter. That will work.

You will get the NOA in the mail first and with that number you can check your case online. The biometrics appointment will also come in the mail.

Richa, a good method to track your package is to send it as certified mail at USPS. That way you have a receipt with a number that you can put in USPS website, and see where your package is, and when it is delivered. It costs like $1.50-2.50 to get that.

To find out whether the checks were cashed, you can view it on-line if you have on-line banking, or you can go to your bank to find out.

Usually checks are cashed on the day when USCIS issues NOA, or the following day. Either way, it can take up to 6 days for them to issue NOA. Respectively, NOA will come in the mail not earlier than 10 days before you mailed your package. God luck with your journey!

Btw, did you include the right fees:$355 and $1010?

I checked it online at my bank´s website. Usually they are very fast cashing checks, I wish there were that fast with the rest of the process,

Could anyone please so kind to let me know when they will send NOA for us because it has been one week we not yet received that if they get the pacakage or not, i am a little bit worried...

I sent the paperwork the same day as you did and I still didnt receive the NOA either...but I don´t think we need to worry yet as I saw some other timelines where they waited 10-12 days to get it. I am expecting to get it this week though, if not I will start to panic
