Hi to all,

I have my AOS interview on Monday in Albany, NY. we moved to NH 2 weeks ago. I called USCIS to change the address, but I was told because I live in the different state now it doesn't matter if i go to the interview they won't interview with me. I need to send the original interview letter to the office where my interview would be done and my interview will be rescheduled. That was what i was told on the phone by an officer. I have nothing written on hand. and I am just worried what if I should still go to the interview... I am totally confuesed..Need advice! Thanks!!!

Yes we are able to attend to the interview. The officer said even if we go to the interview they won't interview with us due to the address change..

Then you might as well go. The people on the phones are not the smartest cookies in the jar.

Have you submitted your AR-11 and I-865 noting change of address?

Thank you! I called the USCIS again and talked to another person. She said "it will be up to the officer to interview with you, but unless you reschedule it you can go..or if you don't go call us to reschedule the interview.." We are definetely going. It will take 3 hours drive from here to the office and we have to wake up at 4 AM in the morning but we don't want to risk it.

Another thing we don't have any joint bank account or utility bills on both names etc.. I have been here only 5 months.haven't done it.. but we have lease on our both names, health insurance (i am under my hubby's insurance)..lots if pictures from our vacations and with families..wedding pics.. Also I am pregnant..my belly will be another proof too i think :) we are just sick of this paperworks, interviews etc..hope it ends soon..

Thank you! will do :)

Congrats on the baby :)

Bring as much paperwork as you can, in photocopies so you can retain your originals (which you will later need for removing conditions). Let us know how it went.
