about how long does it take to get packet 4?

we just sent the ds-230 and the checklist back on tuesday and now i'm wondering how long it will take to hear back from montreal and get our interview date.

i got an email from the consulate saying its taking anywhere from 2-5 months to get to the interview, but how long will it take to get notification of this?

i'm asking because it costs so much money. we're both going and we're going to have to start saving up and fast.

I got an email saying basically the same thing...3-4 month wait. I sent my papers in last week. There are people who have been waiting 6 weeks at this point with no interview date so it looks like it may take awhile. It looks like Montreal is backlogged.
