Current Status: Fingerprint fee accepted; receipt notice mailed and case pending.

On August 17, 2009, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Your case is now pending. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. when did they update your status? it cant be updated right away after sending you the notice of Action!!

Hi everyone! Just as I was about to whine again..my husband arrived with the NOA1s in his hands! At last! Still waiting for the biometric letter..but not that much in a rush now..

OH i just checked, it says 8/20/2009

for both I485 and I765.

SO.. thinking they may have sent it out on 8/20 rather than on 8/17 ?

We're August filers as well.

Sent the package last tuesday (08/18) and we haven't recieved our NOA yet. We're patiently waiting.

Our check was cashed this morning! I was starting to get worried... they received our package on 8/18.

Okay, bad form to post right after my own post, but I just went and tried to use the case number printed on the back of the cleared check to add the case to my profile on USCIS/CRIS. It's supposed to be an MSC+10digit number, right?

CRIS tells me that " * Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

* Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number."

Am I a doofus and doing this wrong, or does the receipt number on the back of the AOS check not work the way the receipt number on the back of the K1 check did?

I agree, it seems like that usually takes a few days after things start to happen...

Sometimes they don't put it on there, mine took a week or so, my daughter's I-485 still isn't on there at all even though her I-765 and I-131 is! I called and they say it will be updated within 90 days, who knows?!
