HI :D

I am new here posting and all but I have been reading and looking at post for a good 9 months maybe a little more. This past July my husband and I sent the packet for the I-130 and I-485 and Tuesday (8-11) We received 4 letters. I am guessing this are the first 4 NOA and now, we are waiting for the biometrics appt. I dont really know if my husband is nervous but I am... I am just hopping we get the appt soon.

Just got all my 3 moa's today a lot quicker than I expected them as tyhey were only received at Chicago on the 5th, now I have to wait for my biometrics appointment

Hope this is a good sign

Congrats Shaz!!! :dance: It's so nice to see things moving, isn't it?

I just realised that my bio appointment is exactly to the day since we submitted our I-129F. Full circle. :-)

Nice to see so many people joining us as August files. Congrats to all who got their NOA letters and or bio letters already and for everybody else, I hope your NOA letters arrive soon.

My fiancee entered the country on 04/05/2009 with her K-1 visa and we got married on 04/21/2009 but we didn't file for her AOS until 08/05/2009 (application received), which was a month after her I-94 expired.

It has been 9 days and they still haven't cashed our filing fee check. It shouldn't be a problem that we filed the AOS after her I-94 expired, right? Should we call someone at the USCIS about this?

June 22nd, 2008: Got engaged in Sydney!

August 9th, 2008: Mailed I-129F Petition

August 11th, 2008: I-129F Petition received, signed by V SEMEGI

August 12th, 2008: NOA1 issued

August 13th, 2008: Touched

August 18th, 2008: NOA1 sent

August 20th, 2008: NOA1 hard copy received!

December 19th, 2008: Touched

December 21st, 2008: Touched (on a Sunday?)

December 22nd, 2008: NOA2 sent!

December 27th, 2008: NOA2 hard copy received

December 31st, 2008: NVC mailed petition to Sydney Consulate

January 13th, 2009: fiancée received packet 3 from Sydney Consulate

Feb 11th, 2009: fiancée returned packet 3 documents to Sydney Consulate

Feb 12th, 2009: Sydney Consulate received packet

March 6th, 2009: fiancée inquired about packet 3's status,

March 9th, 2009: Sydney Consulate claims that the interview notice was emailed out on Feb 13th, 2009 for Feb 24th and that she never showed up for the interview!!!!

March 10th, 2009: After some arguing with the Consulate, they've rescheduled an interview

March 17th, 2009: Interview is at 8AM, fiancée, approved!!!

March 19th, 2009: Fiancée received visa in the mail along with yellow envelope for POE

March 28th, 2009: I'm flying to Sydney

April 5th, 2009: We're flying back together!

April 21st, 2009: Got legally married!

PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CONSULATE A FEW DAYS AFTER MAILING IN YOUR PACKET 3 DOCUMENTS JUST IN CASE THEY EMAIL YOU AN APPOINTMENT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AND YOU END UP NOT RECEIVING IT. THEY DO EMAILS NOW!!!!

it is a problem only if you guys didn't marry in 90 days, but its totally normal to send the AOS package after the I-94 expires.

we got married since january 31st, and we ve just sent the Application couple days ago!

Oh we definitely got married before 90 days. We got married on April 21st, about 2 weeks after she enter the US with her K-1 visa.

I sent my AOS paperwork in on July 31st. I just noticed today that they cashed the check but I have not recieved the NOA yet. I am guessing it will come in some time next week.

hi jnav, i also sent the aos packet on the same date as yours. but the check is not cashed yet. i am thinking it was rejected and on its way back here bacause we put the filling fee of $1365 all in one check.

did you send yours to chicago lockbox too?
