AP and EAD approved Sept 21, 2009 WOO HOO!!!! Now my husband can plan our trip to Canada for October!!

Funny thing about this approval the e-mail was sent at 11:51PM....USCIS working overnight shift now.....LOL :wacko:

lol, yeah, when I received my email for EAD it was after 9pm:) I actually recieved two emails, one was sept 14 and the second was sept 18. They were identical.

And they never sent me email about AOS. Yesterday I received invitation for the interview for AOS in mail. I checked my case online and there it shows it havent been touched since one day after biometrics. Weird? I dunno.

I went on USCIS today and saw I got a touch on my AOS, love the new layout it shows where you are in the process so I am in initial review fingers crossed no RFE's

did you get any touches since your biometrics?i just got one on my AOS, i wonder why still not on the EAD!

I got my EAD card today!!! Monday off to SSA.....

Anyone has any suggestions on what I should bring and stuff...

Bring your EAD card and passport.

I did and the very mean lady did not accept it she said I had to have a birth certificate, I told her I only had a copy and she did not want it or anything else I had...

Im upset because I have to wait to get my original one and I cant do much with out it except to get an ID... i dont know she makes me wanna cry

do you want to report an abuse?

for i can give you the link in which they write what docmuents can be accpeted a substitute of brith certificate. , and it's an officialdocumetns from the us governement.

she was wrong and not respecting your rights then.

if the copy has an offical stamp, then it coulb'tn be denied.

I know what documents I was able to bring because I read and read and re read the website page and well since my dad is already sending me the original I dont want to make a big deal but I am sure this time I will not leave the SSA office until I get a reciept for my SSN. I hope my birth certificate it's here by friday.

In any case I will try to get a SSN again on monday... with our without the Birth certificate. It was so early in the morning she can not have said she was having a bad day...

Oh another thing I have not seen anything being done on my I 130 or I 485 or gotten an Interview letter....how long should I wait til I call to get an answer?

Anyone knows what is walk-in bio appointment??

It when you receive your bio appointment letter you just go ahead and go to the office and ask if they can go ahead and do it then instead of waiting until the day you are scheduled. We went yesterday and they did it for my wife.

Well, I may be joining you all here since we're so farrrrrrrr at the end of July with an NOA date of 7/29. LOL

YEAH July come join the party in the August forum :)

Well... I'm here and things are moving EVER so slowly. But, at least this time, I'm NOWHERE near as stressed as I was for the K1!!! LOL

He got his AP in the mail yesterday, know the EAD has been ordered for production, just awaiting the interview for 10/19!!!

<sigh>
