AUGUST 2009 AOS FILERS - progress reports

Hi,

Just wondering if any August filers had their files transferred to CSC and also didn't receive their biometrics prior to that event (or just never received biometrics after roughly 1 month of AOS NOA).

Likewise we had our EAD and AP approved already but no biometrics.

We called into NSC and received a reference number.

i received an update email saying

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. hello all August Fliers~ I have been posting my update because its pretty UNUSUAL and does not follow through the normal progress of AOS. Hubby received our AOS I 485 Interview Letter TODAY in the mail, dated Sept 11, 2009. Interview is for: October 16, 2009 8:00 AM in Los Angeles USCIS Office. ~ I mean our online status remains pending, last touched 09/04.

This is our story~~~ of course i'm ELATED that this is our final stage of approval before obtaining a PR/Green Card ... but also feel like wow... the sequence is off here ~~

Just wanted to share my story ~~ i know the timeline is different for everyone!

On my notice, it says my case has been transfered to NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER .

Does that mean anything special? Or is this the normal procedure?

where did you send the AOS Application? to your local office?if so then u did a mistake, the case should be sent to the National benefit center,but if it is the case dont worry it seems they fixed it and sent it to where it should be.

I sent it to the Chicago address ( I thought that is where all the applications have to be sent?!), and I guessed they sent it to Missouri...

Gosh I'm a bit worried for my AP, I need to go to Canada mid-december ( I sent my application at the end of August).

When they say : 3 months for AP, do they mean starting from when you sent the documents?

I got an e-mail saying my EAD was ordered sept.11 2009... 30 days and counting....

Might not be as long as that I got approval last week and got a mail saying my ead card was mailed yesterday so hope to have it by the end of the week

let's hope for the best and I will definetly check for that mailed confirmation...

chicago IL is where you should send it and you did so don't worry.

you don't have a signature Timeline its hard to say an advice!!

for the AP i guess they take less than 3 months unless the applicant got the RFE.

I don't understand why my timeline doesn't show up... I do have one :S

It gives me an estimate, it says I should get it mid-end october, which would give me plenty of time before I have to go to Canada!

the timeline i meant is the signature in your profile to do so:

it gives me this message:
