I had a question, since I live in california is my case going to get transfered? now that the EAD is approved what comes next?

You guys are so lucky! Haven't heard anything on hubby's EAD card ~ He had his bio on Sept 3rd... last touched sept 4th....

Timeline:

2/18/2009: Mailed I-129F Form

2/20/2009: NOA 1 Receipt Date

3/20/2009: NOA 2 Notice Approval Date

05/28/2009: Interview APPROVED

7/22/2009 --POE (LAX)-- We are together forever <3

7/28/2009 -- Applied for SSN & Registered for Marriage License

8/3/2009 -- Civil Ceremony

8/5/2009 -- Received Marriage Certificate via Express Mail. Pass DMV Written Exam & Received Permit

08/11/2009-- Mailed AOS to Chicago, IL

08/17/2009 -- Check clears $1010 USCIS

8/20/2009- Touched ^---^

8/21/2009-- NOA 1 for I-485 and I-765 Hard Copy

08/29/2009-- Received Biometrics Appointment Letter in the mail, dated 08/26

Might not be as long as that I got approval last week and got a mail saying my ead card was mailed yesterday so hope to have it by the end of the week

sent my AOS august 17 and got the hard copy of NOA1 august 24.Am gonna have my biometrics app on sept 23,unfortunately i got RFE,huhuhu!!!they need the pay stubs or other documentation of pay for the previous 6 mos.

Did your RFE look like this:

Current Status: REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE SENT, CASE PLACED ON HOLD

On September 11, 2009, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your mailing address.

Never had one before...no letter yet.

i m sorry to hear that some of you received the RFE..thats going to slow down your case but you should be patient and rely on Allah(GOD)

i didnt get no update since the transfer in sept 10th, is it normal?

i have a question though, Do the AP and EAD can be granted wihtou any biometric appt? :blush:

as far as i can see it has been so quick after the BIO appt, that i wonder if they were independant;

as far as i can see it has been so quick after the BIO appt, that i wonder if they were independant;

I thought that AP and EAD come after the biometrics but I have seen a case recently where the AP did get approved before the bio appointment.

I just received my EAD card today I cant believe it arrived so quickly only a few days after the approval and well within the 30 days stated

Just wondering if any August filers had their files transferred to CSC and also didn't receive their biometrics prior to that event (or just never received biometrics after roughly 1 month of AOS NOA).

Likewise we had our EAD and AP approved already but no biometrics.
