HI everyone! i hope you are having a great day :)

thank you for sharing your updates.

I went to my biometrics appointment last thursday august 27 and i got an email today September 1st from CRIS stating my Current Status: Card production ordered.

On September 1, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. :o i thought it took 3 months! i need to start looking for a job!

when do i get advance parole?

It lools like you might get the green card before the advance parole so no need to worry about that you can travel on the green card that is great news, I just got up and am off to my bio appointment in half an hour

Congrats!!! That is really fast but fantastic news really. So pleased for you.

As for AP, they usually deal with it at the same time. Maybe in you case they just didn't update the data. In any case, it shouldn't be long after the EAD.

Shaz, I think it's the EAD card that's been ordered for production and not the GC. Although with USCIS, you never know. PinK ButTerfLy could tell us which one it is.

when can we make the walk in?

anybody here is living in CT ?

I don't mean to be a spoilsport but are you aware that not all offices accept walk-ins? If they allow it and you live nearby (not to waste to much time getting to the centre), you can do it any time. It seems (from reading others' posts) that people have been successful in getting their biometrics done earlier if the officers were not too busy so for most people it worked if they turned up on Saturday.

Good luck.

thank you i didnt know that, i thought all offices accept walk in for biometrics...hmmmmm ...anybody tried Hartford CT office??

Chadlaure thats very cool

No we didn't call, we just went there and say we were in the area so maybe we could do it now. They said they were busy now but to come back at 1pm. We did, waited a bit (15 min) and it took 5 min for the fingerprints.

Not all offices let you do a walk in for biometrics so check I was an hour early for mine today and they made me wait outside the office and said not to come back till my appointment time which was crazy as it was empty inside
