Congrats on the bio appointment Dalyn, what does your case status say? does it say fingerprint fee accepted, notice mailed, case pending? or does it says case received and pending?

case received and pending, until now when I checked my status online. So, I am not expecting it that I will receive it this week too, but when we opened our mailbox yesterday wow! that's it..

that's good coz we will be busy by 3rd week of Sept..we will be having our church wedding, that's why we are so anxious to receive it early as possible so we can change that date of my bio appointment just in case it's gonna be fall on 3rd week of Sept.

I got an RFE, have to go and get my vaccination records transcribed.

As well as they are requesting a copy of my husbands 2008 tax info, which I already sent in with the first package already. How frustrating it is when they already have a copy of something they are asking for!

I got my Biometric letter today , i m so happy alhamdulillah(thank GOD) dated august 26th,

the date of appointment is 9/22 at 11:00 AM

Well I finally found the right thread. There is another one in AOS for Work, Student, and tourist visas that has I-129 filers in it. Several mention two threads going but not where they are. I thought they might have been merged.

I got to the wrong one through google but now have found this one.

Our NOA is dated as "received" on the 13th of August and the "Notice Date" is Aug 18. No letter yet establishing the date of the biometrics appointment.

I do so enjoy agonizing over the precise meaning of every single word in this process. Becoming immigration lawyers ourselves in order to get my wife through it.

And I am especially grateful to be spending all this money and enduring bureacracy while more than twenty million illegal aliens do absolutely nothing except walk across the border.

By some estimates it is more than 30 million. Regardless of the exact number, there are more illegals than there are legals. So the theory that we are doing all of this in order to keep out illegal immigrants is absolute horse-puckey. There are more of them than there are of us!

I submit as evidence the roughly 30 million here illegally. None of them have been kept out. The more difficult you make immigration, the more illegals you will have.

Joining the party here as I have just been a lurker.

Was also waiting for what seemed like forever for my biometrics letter after sending off my package on Aug. 12, it finally showed up today so I am really excited. All those that have been waiting should watch the mailbox in the couple of days, the bio letters should be coming.
