Hello everyone!! I am now completely confused as to where my adjustment of status case will be processed. Here are the two posts I am referring to:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

On August 21, 2009, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

OK so that was on 8/21/2009, then yesterday I got this:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

So the 2nd one now makes it sound like my case is going to be processed at my local office??? OR does it mean CSC has now received the transfer???? I am now completely confused :bonk:

Looks like it will be processed in California from what I can gather they advised that it would be transferred and the second one is confirmaiton that they have received it, I am hopintg to get transferred to California and then I wont have to have the interview

We finally got our NOA1s today! The check was cashed on Tuesday (8/25) so I was beginning to wonder where those NOA1s were...

The interesting thing is that none of the receipt numbers on the NOAs were the number printed on the back of the canceled check. I know that method works for online case status stuff when you file the I-129F, but apparently it doesn't work for AOS.

Can someone tell me how to do an Early Walk In Appt? Do we just show up like for example: sometimes next week? and then bring everything with us ... and then ... see if they will take our fingerprint?

The biometrics appt letter is for 09/23 ~~~ thats another more than 3 weeks + away ~~~

I wonder if they just place your case onhold until Bio is finished *_*
