mine says the same thing :(:( i dont scare you but i think who will receive the biometric letter they update that in the status saying the fingerprint fee is accepted and notice mailed...hhhmmmm!!!

I don't know if they update online, I don't think so but we'll see...

I've noticed that Hapycloud received the bio letter 14 days after the NOA date... So If my NOAs are dated on Aug 14th, i still have a couple of days to go.

I know it is just an average and it doesnt mean my case will follow the same speed but it helps!

i didnt know that either until yesterday S.IS.HWANG had this update on his status:

for I485- on USCIS Website States:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Fingerprint fee accepted; receipt notice mailed and case pending.

On August 17, 2009, your fingerprint fee was accepted and we have mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Your case is now pending. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process each kind of case in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below for current processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I wouldn't read too much into USCIS. They are known not to update!!

Mine never said fingerprint fee accepted or notice mailed (well except when my EAD was approved)

As I've learned, things will happen out of the blue!

08/20/09 - Interview notice arrived dated 08/18/09 - Sept 24th/09

08/21/09 - Got EAD Card in the mail!! :D

09/24/09 - Interview Date: 9:00am - APPROVED

10/03/09 -Received GC!!!!!

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval : 86 Days

ROC:

04/01/11 - Preparing for ROC currently

06/27/11 - ROC Mailed!

07/02/11 - NOA1 Arrived [dated 06/30/11]

07/13/11 - Biometrics letter arrived [08/01/11]

10/31/11 - Final Approval!

11/04/11 - Received new card today.

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval: 125 Days

Next Step will be citizenship in June 2012!

We sent package to Chicago lockbox....then they transfer it to your assigned service center.

CSC is the California Service Center...TSC is Texas...etc....and this is the standard process to my understanding.

They are suppose to review each in order of arrival, but that is often left up to each officer working that day and which one they grab. I've heard, sometimes they'll skip over a more difficult one to push out easy ones first...and keep their quotas up for the week.

But don't know for sure.
