You won't even read a memo produced by the RNC that shows their strategy that proves a point because of the source where it was at? Sorry , I couldn't find a more friendly site to prove you wrong with. Why do you even bother trying to debate here? Clearly you've made up your mind and have no interest in facts or any sort of discourse that might prove your point of view wrong.

hi pot meet kettle

Clearly logic escapes you......

clearly you don't have any proof of your claims

I do, but you're too caught up in your preconceptions to even look beyond your own nose.....

back to the pot/kettle rob. how bout we agree to disagree?

I think these protests are being orchestrated to some extent, seemingly to derail dialogs about healthcare reform.

they may very well be. clearly the amount of people here asking questions & being uspet about not getting answers, shows there are issues. non of us are plants or being directed to do anything.

Thats the thing, some of these people who interrupt these events ARE plants...

do you have PROOF of that? no, i didn't think so. need PROOF the people here are not? check the join dates. we've all been here for quite sometime.

Yes, there is proof. Here is a link, I know, it's the huffington post, but you don't have to read the article there, and subsequently dismiss it as partisan drivel. At the bottom is a copy of the RNC internal memo that was leaked. That memo outlines their strategy, and the memo was distributed to grassroots organizations to coordinate these interruptions.

So, it's grassroots versus astroturf, like A.C.O.R.N. and S.E.I.U.?

Before enron, corps could hold assets such as realestate as long as they wanted. Only if they sold it, they then had to report it as a gain or loss. Sarbanes Oxley requires them to report every quater on its value for that time period.

OK.... But that would surely only mean that you'd find out about potential problems in your asset portfolio a bit earlier...

Is that a bad thing?

Yes in a big way. the banks were reporting losses in value not in assets. Of course then the value in the stocks plummeted, leaving them with no capital. We all know that you dont lose money on a stock unless you sell it or it goes to zero.

What is there to disagree about? You refuse to even read any proof because of where it is reposted. The memo was NOT generated by the huffington post, and I clearly said to disregard their reporting about it and just focus on the document itself which has been verified. I'm sorry that the huffington post is too toxic for you to even stand, but they were the top search result on my google search. You ask for proof, I provide a link to show my point and you refuse to even read it. No use continuing with this as you have no interest in actual discourse here.

Instead of telling ppl to focus you might want to try your own advice.

exactly why i'm not even reading that garbage. now how about some PROOF?

OK genius, the article isn't the proof. That's why I gave specific instructions as to where the RNC memo was....... Disregard the article and look at the memo at the bottom. If you can't be bothered to even read it, then dont' whine.

noone is whining...except you maybe coz i don't believe a damn thing from huffington. PROOF??

That memo was produced elsewhere I think - I posted an article yesterday that went into more detail about what's going on.

says the peterpuffingtonpost

Well if you're genuinely interested - you can look at the article I posted. Or not.

Either way, there's your answer. And mine.

link me please

Try here. Its a different article on the same story Steven posted yesterday, but without all the loaded language about jack booted thugs.

thank you...well its the NYTimes. i'll read it anyway.

Its the NYT and its op-ed, but it doesn't have the loaded language of Steve's article - and all of the author's claims are linked to external references.
