Bern! How come the break til' October? What'd I miss? Don't know what you want your timeline to be but scheduling for interviews is VERY slow, to say the least -- there are people who finished NVC in June and still haven't been assigned an interview date yet, in case you didn't know.

Hope all's well... .

Well, some unexpected bills came up and left us with next to no extra money. My husband has more than enough to pay the IV bill in his savings account but he thinks of that money as...he doesn't have it? He's putting it away for us, and he does NOT want to spend from it. So the IV bill will be paid on October 1 :) And I know, Canada is terrible for interviews eh? >_< And to think our countries are so much alike. I'll never understand it. :jest:

Ahhhhhh... gotcha! Well, that's a smart way of thinking regarding savings -- I'm the same way actually. I will consider myself 'broke' if my regular account is empty and never touch the savings! That's verboten!

Oh my gosh, Bern! The waiting for an interview thing is turning me into an impatient biotch! I can't even imagine how the people who finished in June must feel. What is wrong with Montreal? Do they hate us? Are they lazy? What?????

I wish I had some information....

blah, blah, blah... me, me, me....

;)

See? That's the thing, I have very little time off left from work, I work Mon-Fri 9-5 or more usually... plus the cost of a ticket is still expensive, despite the fact that we're fairly close. That plus time off work and stuff, it all adds up to a fair amount of money and such... I figure that maybe we WILL get an interview at some point, maybe even before xmas? I can stand it until then. So... I just don't want to have to go into debt. If we wait too long, I will take another trip or he'll come here or something.

Blech.

I don't usually paint the town red, I'm a sit in the backyard, drink some wine with my friends kind of girl...

:D

Nothing beyond them reviewing my case. *shrug* I'm not sending them any information until they're done with the supervisor reviewing it because it's a load of ####### that I should be required to send anything - I'm not willing to admit any defeat just yet. I've already begun resigning myself to the fact that I will not be home for Christmas.

Holy ####### on a cracker....I missed the drama. What was IN that fruit tray I dropped off????

We received one of the two remaining civil documents. As soon as the prison records get here, we're good to go. Asked the attorney to review the I-864EZ & DS230 a week ago. Got the old "was in trial all week" excuse.....

My AVR changed to reflect the actual date they sent out the RFE - that's it. I called yesterday to ask about the review and the woman was adamant about "it takes 5-10 business days!!!"

Hello All, How is it Going?

Beth, What time did she ask you to call tomorrow? I am hoping she will give you the good news. I would call all day, if i were you. almost every hour and speak to Laila.

I am not Understanding your case and NVC , to be honest and I know that is not new. I thought NVC simply lines up teh documents, checks to make sure you have sufficient income to support your relatives, and then sends the docs over to Embassy. But , i am very confused as you are. however, its not worth to stress over things thats out our control. One thing is in our control, Praying. Thats it. And I know prayers are alwyas and alwyas answered, Sooner or later.

well, For me, My weekend starts right now. I am off tomorrow, headed to Gauley river, the Beast of the East, for whitewater Rafting.
