For sure, call! They will try to say, "oh we mailed it, blah blah blah" but insist on them telling you what the RFE was.

So they said it was probably due to not having my DS230 but it is in review and to ignore the message.....somewhat of a relief but still don't like it.

Anymore to me, NVC is like USCIS, everytime you call, you get a whole different answer, and it needless!!!!

Im sure it is fine Gundas, I got a false RFE also.

Truly happy!!!

Hey Kids....at least you get picked for the team. I'm usually the water girl :P

Okay so I know I shouldn't be disappointed (after all we are talking about Cairo), but yesterday the NVC operator told me they weren't finished with scheduling for October. I was so praying we would get an October interview. Well, today the NVC informed me that we didn't get one. :( As usually they gave me the "We schedule the second week of the month for the next month." I was so hoping my man would be with me for Eid al Adha, sigh.....

Anyhow, my question is this.....VJ had a lot of people getting scheduled interviews the first week of September, so what's this BS the NVC gives us about only scheduling the second week of every month? I don't get it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I'm confused about this too, the NVC appt log for Sept are full, and they have no idea when can i get one. They keep saying..."We schedule the second week of the month for the next month" ...:blink::blink:

I received a false RFE via AVRS on Sept 2nd, 4th, 8th and 9th. I ALSO got two false email RFE's on the Sept. 4th and 8th. I finished with Case Complete with NO REAL RFE on Sept. 11. I wouldn't worry.

OK, I got 4 false RFE's yesterday, two to my hotmail account that I provided NVC when our case number was generated, and two to my Yahoo email that my wife gave them when she appointed me the agent on the DS-3032. All of them ask for the DS-230 and documentation to be submitted, which they received on Sept. 11. Even the AVR has that info updated now! I take it as a good sign that the I-864 has been processed and the DS-230 is the last piece of the puzzle for them to wade through before we are approved. I'm just thankful that I know about everyone else's false RFE's on here, or else I would be freaking out right now. Now I know that it is a normal part of the process. Did anyone else get four of them there?

It takes 8 months for us to see each other back again since we started our visa process, and now here we are reunited back again and happy together.
