Okay so I know I shouldn't be disappointed (after all we are talking about Cairo), but yesterday the NVC operator told me they weren't finished with scheduling for October. I was so praying we would get an October interview. Well, today the NVC informed me that we didn't get one. As usually they gave me the "We schedule the second week of the month for the next month." I was so hoping my man would be with me for Eid al Adha, sigh.....

Anyhow, my question is this.....VJ had a lot of people getting scheduled interviews the first week of September, so what's this BS the NVC gives us about only scheduling the second week of every month? I don't get it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I called the NVC twice today, just to get two different operators -- both of them told me that I did NOT get an interview for October AND that they have for sure finished scheduling for October.

Guys? I know that I'm a big, whiny sop about all this but really? REALLY? Does the consulate in Montreal suck that bad? My entire life is on hold.

It's not awesome. I just want to be with husband and get my life on the go there. Get a job, it's gonna be hard, and get rolling. Geez, now I'm in no man's land with the rest of my fellow Canadians

For sure, call! They will try to say, "oh we mailed it, blah blah blah" but insist on them telling you what the RFE was.

So they said it was probably due to not having my DS230 but it is in review and to ignore the message.....somewhat of a relief but still don't like it.
