No update on AVR and still able to log into payment system. :(

Ditto, docs being reviewed, give it a few days per NVC, UHG! Okay 3 day weekend, lets try to enjoy it, and play the game again Tuesday my fellow NVCer's. Nothing will change over weekend. Everybody be safe over this holiday weekend.

Since next week is a 2nd week of the month and it's a short week I wonder if they will extend interview scheduling into 3rd week of September.

Masters, dont believe the 2nd week of the month is the ONLY time they issue interview. Many this week got emails of interview already. Three finished NVC next day they got the email of the interview date. Depends on how backed up embassy is.

Can someone clarify something for me?? I've paid my aos bill online (70.00) and it says paid can I now send in the biographical info (support, tax info, check stubs, etc...) or do i have to wait for them to accept the DS 3032 via email, which I sent in last week? Just want to make sure my I's are all dotted and my T's are crossed. Thanks

You can send AOS package now (I-864, tax return, pay stubs, etc). To send IV package (DS-230, civil docs, photos, etc) they'll have first to accept DS-3032 and issue IV bill, then you'll have to pay IV bill and print the bar-coded coversheet to send together with IV package. People, really, just read this guide before asking *any* questions:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...he_NVC_ShortCut

Thanks and I did read the guide already, but I didn't feel it was totally clear and I just wanted to make sure. Sorry if my "any" question irritated you. Just trying to get through this process just like anyone else.

I'm not irritated, here is more info for you:

Yes you can send the AOS packet now, once the DS-3032 is accepted, then NVC will produce the $400.00 bill. So then pay it, and send in your DOS-230 packet, then wait for case to complete then. Best wishes.

Question for the seasoned August NVC'ers....

What's the point in labeling each page with the case number, etc? Is it in case documents get separated from the main packet?

I looked for answers before I posted, but couldn't find anything.

Could I print removable labels & use those?

Married 2008

-------------------------------------------------------------------

5/21/09 - filed I-130

12/7/09 - Interview (denied for 28 yr old CIMT); filed waiver same day

6/18/10 - I-601 Waiver Denied, added misrep for checking wrong box on landing card (lifetime ban)

7/16/10 - AAO Appeal filed.

8/31/12 - AAO appeal sustained (THANK YOU, GOD FOR YOUR MERCY)

10/8/12 - USCIS sent file to Consulate

11/28/12 - Visa in hand

Well, it's optional (for particularly paranoid filers :) I didn't label anything except 2x2 photos for DS-230 , I just stapled all documents together with bar-coded cover sheet so they won't get separated. Even if some document gets separated NVC staff can always look up the case number using the name of the document.

I did both, staples and used clips, but I wrote NVC number on all docs, so the misplaced doc can be I.D. by case number.

Im one of those paranoid filers, had too bad stint with USCIS on my case and losing key evidence!!

Hopefully, soon all this tedious paper processing will be the thing of the past and all cases will be processed using scanned and emailed copies of the documents (this is the option for Montreal currently), and originals to be brought to the interview.

My husband is FINALLY getting the letter. Now I can chill out a bit. But probably will be at a stand still at NVC for another month or so.

Whoo Hoo Bern, that is great , a relief for you. My hubby told me he will have new update PCC form ALgeria, dont think we need it, but knowing he will have anew one in a day or two took some worry away. UGH!!!!!

Im sooooo looking forward to looking back at this and laughing one day while seeing my Love across from me at breakfast table in Houston.

Truly happy!!!

Yeah I saw that, it would save a lot of time, money, and piece of minds. Think it will be expanded in the future Master5?

How is it going at NVC for you???

Well, it's a pilot program that will be expanded if tested successfully:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4409.html

Misplacing documents with electronic processing would be almost impossible.

You know how it's going for me :) It's all in my signature, waiting now, just like you, we're at the same stage.

Yes I do see your timeline, what i was referring to is have you received a false RFE from NVC as a few of us have received in the past few days?

Not yet, maybe next week :) How do you know you got false RFE, do they send you an email?
