Uh yeah...

duh, doesn't everybody?

Man, I need to shut my mouth now...

;)

 *snort*

Did you check?!

FFS!!!

Butt and nut checking made me laugh out-loud.

Thank god I don't have nuts!

Oh wait...

No, no... all good.

;)

You could take 'hoot' in so many ways...

Hubby is totally not looking forward to his medical due to butt and nut checking!

Well this thread has digressed.

Sorry.

But really? I read a thread awhile back about someone who had their consulate-approved medical and...

[whispers]

they check out your butt!

[/whispers]

:help:

It'll be a hoot, I promise.

I'll keep an eye out for a half naked gal running around the doctor's screaming something about butt

Sorry Mohan...

we're just goofing around... no harm meant -- thought in between all of us doing our real work and NVCing it, we could inject a little levity to lighten up the situation...

Sounds like so far so good with your package. You know what I wonder? The AOS package has been at NVC now for almost 3 weeks -- Iwonder if that means that they're happy with it nad are now checking the IV package? I would hate to have it be there for so long and THEN find an RFE at the last minute.

Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm RFE obsessed, what of it?

oh frenchwife...

don't be hurt! It's not the word, it's the context you used it -- it was like you implied that we were all a bunch of pests for calling the NVC...

Let's forget it and move on? This process is so difficult and fraught with emotions and incidents that it's easy to make mistakes in every regard.

Let's just all work on getting ourselves though the process.

Use 'jam' all you want, it's not a bad word -- hell, I love jam -- I eat it all time on hot buttered bread.

Jam is good. Let's get us all through NVC and our respective consulates, okay?

Good.

~shakes hands with frenchwife~

thanks

shakes hands with igg

I understand word is good but idea conveyed is not.

we must use NVC operator as much as we can.

I did not mean to say calling operator was not good idea, I was willing to say AVR can be also very helpful

understand you want to go through NVC asap all of you.

I am actually almost done and can't do anything anymore to speed it

just waiting for my interview data

I don't mean to slow you down

I am almost through and freshly through so hoping to be helpful (I am not an expert I know)

It took me quite some time to go through, probably more than you want to for you,

2 1/2 - 3 months

AT the beginning all went extremey well

NOA2 May 14, fees paid June 2 or around

Then It slowed / I lost time

(I did not want July or realy August interview (on holidays))

assembling tax info, getting fresher documents required by embassy, + new translations

And also a lot of time was needed to list all my trips to the US (40 or so)

In the road got 1 RFE with 2 issues

1) all their mistake, I had given a certified copy and they told me it was a photocopy. I said no, had it sent to supervisor, sent some email / scans and it got fixed

2) our mistake, I did not have the 2008 tax info for good reasons and did not provide, could have thought at least of providing W2 only and a clearer explanation

I am on holidays now and with some time to spend

but I must slow down on VJ, it is quite addictive! and I have also other things to do for preparing the move!!!

good luck
