I agree, I just sent out my $400 yesterday. I would pay whatever to make these people "get the lead out". Man, are the people working at the NVC part of a Union?

Anyway, anyone else out there getting tired of explaining to people how long the process takes. I hate getting reminded every day over and over again, "I thought your suppose to be gone". LOL.

I'm done explaining anything to people, tired of it. Those who never dealt with US immigration system will never understand, they think it's all fast and simple and always surprised why my family is still not here. It's damn irritating. I got lots of gray hair over this whole freakish immigration process, idiot co-workers who ask "what? they are still not here?" don't make it any easier.

most people get this false RFE at the IV package stage. Stupid it is , isnt it? If the Operator said no RFE then that is good. there wont be any emails.

For all of you NVC goers, when you hear the AVR says" waiting for Biographic information from the petitioner" that means they are waiting for the IV package after the reciept of AOS and acceptance of DS-3032. This does not mean they have reviewd the AOS package. This just means they have recieved it and now are waiting for the IV package that contains the DS-230 which is the Biographic information on the Beneficiary, hence Biographic information.

After recieving your IV package, the same message that talks about Biographic information changes to , "NVC has recieved blah blah blah blah" After a day or two of the Reciept message you may hear , " NVC has reviewed your documents and found missing or incomple information" . Do not panic. Call NVC as soon as you can and clear it out. Most of the times this is false, and the explaination any operator would be " Cross department thing. The package you sent and our letter Crossed...or whatever"

My expereice, As soon as you hear AVR say " NVC reviewd your pacakge and found information missing or incomplete...." call. And speak to an operator. If one really exists, they will try to explain and later you will also get an email. You never recieve an email on a false one. Also, My false RFE changed the origination date twice in two days. On the other hand, the real RFE was generetad on Aug 7 and remained that way. THird, the AVR recording of RFE never changed in my both cases until the case was completed.

For 19 days , the AVR kept saying, " NVC has reviewd your package and blah blah blah. A letter has been sent to you on Aug 8th....."

On the second case, the real RFE one, once they recieved my RFE reply the message changed to " NVC received the checklist on Aug 10. wait for 6 to 8 weeks"

So...:)

Called NVC this morning to see where things were. The operator started telling me that they generated the packages, yadda yadda yadda. Told him, "Well, the AVR says you've received my documents". Oh.. yes, we have. Please allow 2-4 weeks for review.

OMG Mohan, you have no idea how glad I was to read this. Thank you so very much for this information. I called the AVR and was crushed to hear that as of today's date I have "missing or incomplete info" AGAIN! I freaked cause I read on some other thread about false RFE's, that if you get another message from AVR after the first (within a couple days) it means that it's probably a REAL RFE. Anyhow, I talked to an operator and she said all is well, they are still reviewing the IV packet and that she didn't see anything wrong. She said they would be able to inform me if something was missing, only after they completely finish reviewing the packet. Also, I wan't to make sure that the AOS packet was okay and she said yes, that it had been completed with no errors, Al7amdullilah!!! (well she didn't say thank God at the end, but I did :P ). Anyhow, again thank you Mohan!!! You're a rockstar!

They issued Missing Info Checklist to me when they reviewed my I-864 forms, it said that NVC is waiting for DS-3032 form and IV package and AVR played that "information missing or incomplete message". But I emailed them DS-3032 2 weeks ago at the moment! It took them 18 days to process DS-3032 forms.
