I am WAY freaking out now! I called the NVC's AVR system today and it said that the I was "missing" information. Yesterday the AVR said it had "received documents and that they will review and inform of the outcome." So, I spoke to an operator today and he said they were waiting for the ds-230 package from my husband, I told him that it was send that in last Thursday. He said he saw "something" had come in on Monday. He said not to worry that it was just the ds-230 package that was missing and that I should ignore the message on the AVR since they are probably still reviewing the ds-230 that we sent in. Probably?? Argh....is this a false RFE?? I thought we would have case complete by the end of the week or early next week  Someone please tell me what this means????

I had the same thing happen. When I called them, they said they DID have the DS-230. In my case it was a "cross in the mail" situation. They are slow to receive mail. Sounds similar here, they have just not finished receiving the DS-230. The AVR message continued to say "missing info" all along - best to talk directly to an operator. So in summary, don't worry too much about this. (but call an operator to make sure everything is proceeding)

What are the biographic information? That's why I received when I called the AVR. It says that they are waiting for that.

That is the AOS packet from the Petitioner, the I-864 form, tax return, the pay stubs showing what you made so far this year, etc.

I got the same message on Monday, but a opertor told me they received my info. so their AVRS is not current as what the operators see in their computers, so dont worry, its there, they just need to scan your DOS packet in system.

That's soo weird. I sent that couple of weeks ago! I guess I need to call and see what's up. Thanks Paris!

If that is the case, call and talk to a operator if you sent it a couple of weeks ago.

Did you send your DS-230 packet yet?

I'd gladly pay $4,000 if they make the whole process faster and simpler, without all these retarded medical exams and stupid interviews.

I agree, I just sent out my $400 yesterday. I would pay whatever to make these people "get the lead out". Man, are the people working at the NVC part of a Union?

Anyway, anyone else out there getting tired of explaining to people how long the process takes. I hate getting reminded every day over and over again, "I thought your suppose to be gone". LOL.

I'm done explaining anything to people, tired of it. Those who never dealt with US immigration system will never understand, they think it's all fast and simple and always surprised why my family is still not here. It's damn irritating. I got lots of gray hair over this whole freakish immigration process, idiot co-workers who ask "what? they are still not here?" don't make it any easier.
