You will pay 70 dollars for the AOS. that will cover the kids AOS as well as connected cases.

you will pay 1200 for the IV, 400 for each petition.

for the I-864

yuour husband needs to fill out and submit I-864 for you, if he is wishing to use all his income only . If not then he will have to have someone help him with I-864A. For the kids, he will have to file I-864W since they are USC kids, and they are exempt from the AOS requirement, as long as they will remain in the physical custody of the USC after entering the USA and they are under 18 when they enter. THey become citizens at the POE when they recieve the PR stamp. Nothing futher needs to be done, but apply for their passport later on.

and infact it was faster than our expectation we were expecting our approval in the end of september. we got the NOA2 hard copy today now what should be the next step????

Bern did you mail the DS-3032 form as well?

Yep, it took it's time being approved. I just used the template on the VJ wiki, it worked perfectly.

And my husband is going to pay the $400 tomorrow when he get's paid. I want a February or March interview though.

Your next step is this, now your case is going to be forwarded to the NVC. It can take a week to two weeks for them to get your file, MANUALLY input all your information into the computer, and once they've finished that, then you will be assigned an NVC number. Once you get the number, it is advised that you call and give them your e-mail addresses. It'll speed along your case.

The average time to receive a NVC number from approval date is 2 weeks max, but there are odd cases, like mine, where I had to wait 4 weeks for an NVC number after CSC approval. Good luck!

When I had to get a background check from the FBI to immigrate to Canada, I had to have a copy of the requirements from CIC to get the check done.
