waiting on NVC to receive our files and want to get stuff together. We have most of it I believe. Am curious about the I864, I understand that we have to file 3, one for myself and each of my children. Do we have to pay the fee 3 times and do we need to send originals in for all of us?

tnx paris. So thats all i need to send in with the iv package?

IV packet consists of:

Police cert of beneficiary one for each place beneficiary has lived since age 16

Marriage cert. of petitioner and beneficary

If beneficairay was married before, divorce decree or death cert if that is the case.

Birth cert of beneficiary.

DS-230 form all 4 pages filled out, BUT Part 1 is where beneficary signs and dates only NOT PART 2

A copy of the beneficarys Biographical page of passport.

Military record if applicable.

2 passport size regulations photos.

I suggest you look a the embassy section here on VJ of the embassy where interview will take place for further info. in case I missed something. Sometimes embassy requires more or less docs as the ones I mentioned above.

sdw, for the kids, I think Mohan Baulder can help you on this one, since he also petitoned for his son. There is a special I-864 form to fill out for the kiddos. I think its the I-864WI believe he paid one fee for his wife and child at NVC.

I will help you as much as I can with NVC. and amny others will help too, I just know it. We are so happy for your approval.

You need a co-sponsor. Its last year income is what they re looking at , not the present year income.

SDW,

You will pay 70 dollars for the AOS. that will cover the kids AOS as well as connected cases.

you will pay 1200 for the IV, 400 for each petition.

for the I-864

yuour husband needs to fill out and submit I-864 for you, if he is wishing to use all his income only . If not then he will have to have someone help him with I-864A. For the kids, he will have to file I-864W since they are USC kids, and they are exempt from the AOS requirement, as long as they will remain in the physical custody of the USC after entering the USA and they are under 18 when they enter. THey become citizens at the POE when they recieve the PR stamp. Nothing futher needs to be done, but apply for their passport later on.

Hope this helps..
