My money orders for AOS/IV were delivered today. Wonder how long it'll be until they're paid.

I am a US citizen and have filed the immigrant visa petition for my wife who is in India. NVC assigned a case # to my Visa petition on Aug 17, 2009. I am curious to know whether all the documents for further processing of the Immigrant Visa will be sent to my wife in India or to my address in the US ?

I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks,

You should call NVC today and give them both of your email addresses. That way, everything is sent via email.

I did call last Friday, and the NVC operator told me that she cannot give me that information over the phone, that I have to wait for the mail/Email. It was my second effort to get the Invoice ID number over the phone.

Hello everyone,

I just checked the online payment for the AOS fee and it seems that they withdrew the money this morning. What's the next step? My wife sent the DS-3032 by email and I'm receiving the hard copy today and sending it hopefully today or tomorrow.

I sent in my DS 3032 by email on the 19th. I received the auto response but nothing since then. The IV bill hasn't been generated either. I'm going to mail the hard copy DS 3032 today just in case. Also, Does NVC review the AOS and IV as they receive them or do they wait until the packet is complete and then review?

Your IV bill will not be generated till NVC accepts the DS-3032 form, then they will create it.

NVC reviews each packet as they come in.

Hello everyone! Does the AOS bill appears as "in process" or just "not paid" when it has been paid but not showing yet?

In process! is what it shows till your payment goes thru electronically. Once it is paid, it shows PAID, then you print the cover sheet and send your AOS packet to NVC to the address on the cover sheet.

So if it shows as NOT PAID it is because it's really not paid??? Because he didnt entered any account number, etc??
