Hi,

I guess I'm jumping in too. Just called NVC and got the case numbers for my 3 stepdaughters!

I guess from reading through this, I should call tomorrow- if I can get through- to give them my email.

Anyone have any advice about going through all of this for the kids?

Thanks so much!!

For your step kids, I would speak to the NVC and make sure there is no special form to file for them. I know if your filing for your BLOOD child a I-864W is needed, since that child will be a U.S. citizen as soon as he or she steps on USA soil. but Sorry not sure about step children. Beyt wishes.

Truly happy!!!

You need the hard copy, right Mal? That could take longer than a few days. But I have a bonfire burning over here if you need some smoke... I am practicing smoke signals and all I keep saying is "bring me a sammich...."

No worries. I was on the phone with NVC asking them about the IIN number and scrolled down to find it. Apologized and got my butt off the phone tout de suite...

Good luck, eh?

And, do I just send the DS-3032 as it is, or do I need to send a cover letter for it...or? Lol

Suggest you use the form they emailed with the bar code or paste that bar code on another filled out form like I did. Its good to have a cover letter with both case numbers, names: petitioner, beneficiary & birth dates.

Yay, it's all ready to go now. Thank you Pooh. (I think it's funny for me to say that LOL) but um, I guess sending it by itself would have been a bad move. Oh well, time to get ready for work :'( Thanks again!

Please anyone....I JUST received the emails for the AOS fee and the DS-3032. I talked to an NVC operator and they said I have to scan in the signed DS-3032 (argh my scanner is broken!!) and email it as an attachment. Is this true or did you guys just send in the email format given from James/LingChe shortcuts WITHOUT the attachment?? I really want to just send the email from my husbands account, but I don't want to do it incorrectly. Thanks in advance.
