Yes.. NVC operators are cooperative and not dumb, unlike the ones at USCIS.

just called and got NVC case number and gave both email address'.....can i email choice of agent form now or do I have to wait for them to send it email first?

Thanks Dearheart, I will do the same when i see somthing from them. Im going to start chasing the CR-1 visa, might be quicker then AP on the K3. Never ending rollercoaster with this process!!!

Hey Gundas and Paris: GREAT NEWS! We have our NVC number!!! Woot woot Gundas, so do you! One question: my husband is visiting right now and he leaves next monday. Should I send my police certificate with him? He already has the marriage certificate and my birth certificate. I mean, because police certificates expire in 30 days. What should I do? Or should I just wait until they ask for it? I just gave the NVC our email addresses too. This is so exciting!

Sunflower, go ahead and give them to him now, but likely you will need to obtain new ones.

I dont know Hon, depends how fast you and hubby move thru NVC. I wish I had a firm answer for you, sorry.

So I guess I should wait, huh? And do everything ASAP and super fast when he needs it. It will only take like 3 or 4 days to go ask for it, aunthenticate it, translate it and send it.

I just called as well and got my case #! The operator told me that I should receive an email within two weeks with the instructions.

wow this is different :S when i did my process after i got my case number i called and called until the AVR said that the choice of agent was generated i sent out the email from my husband's account using the template that lotto had and then i kept calling like for 5 days and i got the message saying that our choice of agent was approved.and i got the hard copy on the mail.

If it helps, I find that the e-mails for the AOS fee and DS-3032 come within about 2-5 days. =)

I got the NVC case number too, this morning. The light at the end of the tunnel looks a little bit brighter. Lets don't forget our friends on the March group that are still waiting for NOA2

We're still in AP with the K3, but NVC said they finished down loading my CR-1 petition, and I should get email today on the DS-230 and DS-3032. Im going to go ahead and start that one for now, who knows.
