Haha, thanks but probably not. :D

We won't be able to get a letter employment until next month due to the person who does it, he's in quarantine and then when he gets out, he's going for 2 week leave. If we can prove the amount is over $15k with just a years worth of paystubs, then that'll do I'm sure...we'll see. :D

I'm hoping for a February interview. =)

Hello everyone,

I just received the hard copy of NOA2. It says that:

"The NVC will contact the person for whom you are petitioning(beneficiary) concerning further immigrant visa processing steps."

Also,

"Please allow at least 90 days before calling the NVC if your beneficiary has not received correspondence from the NVC."

Does that mean they will contact my wife? I thought they should send me a package with all the form we have to fill out.

Please advise for the next steps.

Thanks,

--Abdul

Abdul, such as me a K3 filer, the NVC will only touch the I-129F long enough to give it a case number, then they will send to the embassy, and the embassy will mail packet 3 to the beneficiary only. Embassy will not contact the Petitioner, U.S. Citizen.

Truly happy!!!

No, I am not using a lawyer. My hubbie and I are doing this with the guides and the help from the VJ community! :D

So, being that my husband is paper work retarded, I have to do up a copy of the I-864 for him. So, if I add up 12 months worth of paystubs? Would that be his income for the last year...or how does this work?

BETH, I NEED YOU. <3

Ber well yes adding them up use the Gross amount, BUT, use this last tax return for the true amount. Do you have his last tax return or a transcript from the IRS??? You will need one of the 2 I mentioned to send with the I-864

Ber+Ter,

The letter of employment is a a Cruise Missile, (I dont know how to spell that). :)

Nonetheless, if you have his Tax return from last year, and all the paystubs up until now and a nice letter why you dont have an employment letter, that may work.

When I called during my AOS for spouse, the operator asked me for the letter. Seems like they are obsessed. is not there any other human resource person who can draft such letter for you. or the boss of the boss, meaning HR director. this is unusual circumstance and htey should be able to give you one, me thinks.

Hey guys...

Just wondering... once any of you got the case cannot be accessed page on the NVC website, how long did it normally take for the AVR message to change? Or how long did it take for them to send us an email or whatever?

Thanks... just asking and waiting with bated breath...

Wait, so for question

23. My current individual annual income is: I thought this is what he's made so far this year. >_< So we put the exact amount that he made before taxes...or do they want after taxes. The army has really awesome paystubs that sum up money made this year.

And for

25. Federal income tax return information: It asks for tax year 08, 07, and 06, so we list the amounts as given on the tax transcripts?

Also, we do not have his 1040 form for 2008, it's in storage and he does not know where he went..(a friend took him) so I heard tax transcripts were all they needed so with that in mind...for question 25, do we check the first box, the second box, or both? o_O

What the form is asking is the amount he made last year before taxes, the gross amount. Yes write the amount given on the transcripts. You can just give them IRS transcripts if tax return is not handy.

Oh, okay. o_o

So Current Individual income for 2008 would be like $6,000? LOL

Dear god.

I guess this is why we DEFINITELY need the letter of employment.

And thank god, these paystubs are godly...

But which one do we check for question 25?

Box one or two?

I did the I-864 EZ only put 2008 transcript.

This is the amount he is going to make this year. So you need to estimate the total for 2008. The letter of employment and pay stubs will corroborate your estimate.
