Received our approval August 7th so we're in. Paris, you mention having your employment letter ready. I am also doing the I864EZ is there any need for such a letter? Don't see where to include it. Congrats and thanks.

pwrspt, sorry for the late answered, shopped all weekend, lol. I did it for just in case they ask for it at embassy for the interview. Does not hurt to have it, and you will send to NVC if your doing the CR-1 visa, we are doing the K3 so we spend 1 or 2 days at NVC and take all docs and forms with us to the interview.

It mentions the employment letter in the NVC short cuts, its sent with the I-864 EZ and your pay check stubs.

Thanks Paris,

I agree its a good idea to include it and will do so. Still no number from NVC yet but hopefully any day now.

Good luck with your K-3 process, I didn't file the I-129 so we'll drudge thru NVC.

Argh......12 days now. When is the NVC getting our case? I am not good at this patience thing. Sorry...just venting all.

Hey Ber...

I hope you get your # this week too! WTH?? You have way more patience than I do, that's for sure.

Good luck...

:)

LGG

I hope I get my NVC number this week. All this waiting is beginning to seem a bit silly.

Well tomorrow would be 4 weeks but like I said, I may be the beloved fluke case that has to wait 90 days. Thus why I have the 90 ticker...My mother in law is going to call USCIS, hopefully they tell her something. Like if it's left for NVC for not. ~_~

Well, NVC says to wait 2-4 weeks for a case number but they want you to wait 90 days before they put in an inquiry to find out what happened to your file. So that's why I have the ticker set for 90 days. 90 days will be over in October, but of course, we want it done ASAP. I'm putting on my serious face now.

But yeah, hopefully USCIS tells my mother in law whether or not it's left USCIS to NVC because this is bloody ridiculous.

In average, how long does it take for NVC take to create the case#? Will it be too soon to call NVC in 3 days to get the case number?

I hope that we all have an smooth journey through NVC.

WHAT LIARS.

Wait, I called last friday...

8th is saturday!!

Sweets, they probley justed entered it into their system yesterday. Congrats on the case number!!!

Im already calling for my case number, they will have it long enough to issue a NVC number then they will send it to the embassy. My K3 expires 12/08 so I understand that K3 and K1 visa petitions once approved get sent immediatley to NVC, I hope that is the case we want a early October interview.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

In average for a CR-1 visa, its 2 weeks for them to receive then to assign a NVC number. However, this is purely in a perfect world. I had to wait 4 weeks for mine. The relief was amazing though.
