As I remember right, she will need her birth certificate (the original and the photocopy)only for the interview. That will be authorized and translated only if it’s not is English or in the official language of the country in which the application of the visa will be made.

If it's not listed on the I129f application instructions, (which are available at uscis.gov) then its not absolutly necessary.

As far as i know, birth certificate of the foreign fiance is not needed at this time (the filing of K1 petition). Only the USC required to submit birth certificate..to know that the petitioner is really an american citizen. Foreign fiancee only need his/her birth certificate during the interview.

Remove "fianceevisasecrets" from your history.

You will need her birth certificazte translated for the visa interview, not for the I-129f filing. You also do not need a "note" from the translator, you need a "certification" from the translator. Any of her documents presented at the interview must be in English or with an English translation certified by the translator. It is no secret. :)

It needs to be a "certified copy" if you have a certified copy then copy it and send it. Also don't send any original "certified copy" of birth certificate, make a photocopy of it, and send it. Only send originals of items that are required.

Some people make mistake think they have to send the actual "certified copy" when they really only need to copy it and send. It cost me $50+ to get a certified copy from New York State, imagine if I sent it and they lost it and RFE me for another.
