Hello Everyone, ive been so stressed out that i decided to just write down a small summary of my case and maybe someone here can give me some hope or advice, ok so my moms priority date became current in january of this year, she had a i130 approved petition from her brother to her since 1997, ok so it became current and she applied for adjustment with me attached to it because im her son under 21, so we applied feb 06 2009, thats when they received it, they sent us biometrics and notice of actions for both our i485 and i765's that we both applied for, in march 17 we received an RFE that required her brother to supply more eveidence of income for the i864, but he works self employed and we had no more evidence, so we decided to get a co sponsor who makes plenty of money that would make that person eligible. Ok so we send back the RFE, they received it on MAY 06 2009 and it shows up online on both our i485 case numbers, it says that they received the RFE reply and within 60 days they would send us some type of decision on the RFE, so now its august 5 2009 and we still have nothing, no change at all in the Case status and our i765's never showed up online and still dont. I am so worried that they did not accept the RFE or something, is there a chance of them doing that? like waiting so long to just tell us that the RFE was no good enough? me and my mom both really want our EAD's im just so scared of them not accepting the new co sponsor and then we will have to go through this whole process all over again with RFE. anyone please just give me some info or expierence with this, thank you once again

What is your status in the US?

Edited by Boiler

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Yes i called for a service request in on june 26 and this is what i got back

Dated June 29

We received your response to our request for additional evidence/information for your i-485 application, and the processing has resumed on your pending applications. Your I-765 application, for the receipt number of this inquiry, was awaiting the necessary response to the I-485 Request for additional evidence. We received your biometrics from the ASC. Your case is currently under review. Your should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

Now its going to be 60 days next week, and still no change on our i485's status and our i765 still havent shown up online, im just really worried this is what it still says when i look at our i485s online

On May 6, 2009, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

ANY ADVICE OR RELATED EXPIERENCES WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Well the service request does let you know they received the response to the RFE. That's good. Just call again when the 60 days is up. The online updates are not dependable. We got updates and emails all along, but never "you're approved". My husband's case shows "pending" at CSC even though he's had a green card in hand for months.
