Hi, was wondering if anyone had made the I-751 application for child separately from their spouse and if so did the time to approve, etc... take longer than for their spouse? We filed for my wife in January and it took two months to get bio appt and then another two to get approval. Filed in June for step son and still haven't gotten bio appointment notice two months after filing. Not a lot of good info on this so any thoughts would help.

Wow did you get your NOA? If so give the dorks a call at the miss information line to see about the BIO. I have not seen many who have filed for a child seperatly. I will in JAnuary for my 2 though :) Let us know what they say please. How is the child?

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Yeah, gonna call them if I don't hear anything in the next week. Did read a thread on here however that if the child is under 14 they don't do BIO for them, but not sure about this type of case.

Yeah USCIS uses the biometrics that was done for AOS for kids sometimes for the I-751.
