Same here. I'm sure my wife would be willing to help your wife with some adjusting advice. She lives pretty far from California though!

My wife speaks pretty good English, but far from perfect.

As a side note, I believe there is a "Thai town" in or near Los Angeles. They celebrate Song Kran there every year from what I've heard. I'm pretty sure the largest concentration of Thais in America is in CA.

VJ may be a good place to start as you may find lots of Thai wives there,

but for your local area you may want to scout out the Thai Buddhist temples

in your area. Very often you may find Thai/farang couples there.

Also in California there may be an equivalent local website as we have here in NY for the Thai community.

You can have her PM myself and my wife as well. We live in Sacramento. My wife have been here since November of last year. We both speak Thai and Esan as well. We have Thai keyboard as well if she wishes to communicate with my wife in Thai. My wife doesn't speak English well enough but she is learning at the Thai Temple in Sac town. We have a very large Thai community here. Looking for Thai food is not difficult at all. In south Sacramento is a very large Vietnamese town. There is a pretty good size Thai community in Stockton as I was told. Good luck and please don't hesitate to email us anytime. Take care.
