Interview on August 10th-Atlanta office

Hello Everybody!

I have the citizenship interview this coming Monday...I'm excited but nervous!. I have a question (I know, the answer is probably here somewhere but I couldn't find it). Should I bring originals of all the documents I sent?

I'll be going to the Atlanta office, I heard about same day oaths...that may not apply to me since my interview is @ 1:25pm. We'll see!

Does anybody have any advice on anything that could help me to prepare for the interview? Thanks a bunch!! :)

Good luck in your interview :) Yes, you should bring originals of all docs submitted definitely. Are you applying based on 5 years as a PR or 3 years of marriage/PR?

Sorry I don't know anything about the Atlanta office oaths, so perhaps someone else will weigh in on that...

Good luck on your interview! Mine is in the Atlanta office next Thursday three days after yours:-) so I will definitely look forward to reading your review. Yes, bring the originals of what you submitted - they may not ask to see them but then again, they may.

Atlanta does do same day oath ceremonies, but the ceremonies start at 2 pm, I believe so only the applications that are completed during the morning seem to make it in time for the same day oaths. My interview is at 1:05 and I don't know if I will get that opportunity or if I just miss the cut off too.

Just in case, since you are applying on 3 yrs of marriage, I would take some recent joint utility bills and/or other recent evidence of co-mingling because some people have been asked to do that. Good luck (F) and let us know how it goes!

Good luck in Atlanta. We just completed fingerprints today in B'ham and will await reports on the Atlanta trips, from both Monday and Thursday.

We notice that the timelines are only about four months, that is great! Maybe we will get a Christmas gift in Atlanta.
