Hello to all, I am new here and beginning the petitioning process. I am presently in the USA, and planning a trip back to the Philippines to visit my fiance, and would like to get everything in order before I leave in a few weeks.

My Questions are as follows:

1) I did not get a signed "Letter of Intent" to marry from Emmie before I left the Phils in May.

a) can she sign the letter there and - scan & email or fax it to me?

B) if not (as it would not be an original) could she have her signature notarized and then - scanned & email or fax it to me.

c) if neither of these are acceptable (as originals), what is the best quick document shipping service from the Philippines? (to get a signed original to the USA)

2) Same question on the G-325a acceptable signed originals?

a) What is an Alien Registration number? (She has never been to the USA)

3) My recent Divorce was finalized in Dec. 2008 (though separated for 3 years prior), and Divorced many years prior (1984), will I need to provide the 1984 Divorce Decree, in addition to my 2008 Divorce Decree?

I will be there in the Phils for at least 2 months, and will be helping her prepare for her requirements. I will take a complete copy of my I-129F application.

4) What will I need to provide her for the I-134 affidavit of support?

a) I am self employed (and have been for many years), I see mention of providing a copy of my most recent years tax return (that would be 2008).

I have two questions here, one is I finalized my divorce here in the US in Dec of 2008, so my ex-wifes income is also included on my 2008 Tax return (so how will they determine my support capabilities? 50% of adjusted gross income? OR...my business is through a schedule F, and shows a loss (though there is a lot of depreciation, that is not actual expense). I have also heard from a few people that I will need to provide 3 years of returns, is this true?

That's all I can think of for now. Thanks in advance for all the great info and advice available here.

a) can she sign the letter there and - scan & email or fax it to me? No, her signature must be original. Use FedEx.

B) if not (as it would not be an original) could she have her signature notarized and then - scanned & email or fax it to me. No again

c) if neither of these are acceptable (as originals), what is the best quick document shipping service from the Philippines? (to get a signed original to the USA) FedEx to Russia is quick. Not sure about Phils

2) Same question on the G-325a acceptable signed originals? Same Answer

a) What is an Alien Registration number? (She has never been to the USA) She has none, so write in "None"

3) My recent Divorce was finalized in Dec. 2008 (though separated for 3 years prior), and Divorced many years prior (1984), will I need to provide the 1984 Divorce Decree, in addition to my 2008 Divorce Decree? Yes
