The man makes some valid points which you choose to address by ridiculing his weight. Get off the ad hominem attacks, it just shows you lack valid arguments.

I read this column last week and the writer honestly wanted to convince her readers that Ann Coulter is a modern-day Jonathan Swift. :lol:

Only problem was the writer had obviously not understood that the goal of satire is to convince an audience of a problem by letting them view their own defects through exaggeration. Ann Coulter (and she's not the only one of her kind since there's Al Franken and his ilk), on the other hand, spews hate and distorts reality so that her audience does not see the truth. So maybe she's an anti-satirist.

yes Michael Moore is fat and yes Ann Coulter has an adam`s apple. These are both unimportant. This thread is not even about her adam`s apple or Michael Moore at all yet it seems to be the republican party defense team strategy. Ann Coulter is a joke because of the ####### she speaks. She has now been found guilty of theft aswell. These are real issues with me. I also can`t stand tardyness.

I didn`t watch it all i`m afraid but the first like half dozen statements actually seemed fairly sensible statements whether you agree with them or not they are certainly not "false" or outrageous. Of course if you support war you must expect to lose family members and friends. When he speaks of American "ignorance" he is obviously speakign as an American who is concerned about general levels of knowledge. Perhaps a website called Scary John Kerry should be taken with the same contempt you show "liberal" channels. Kerry is Bush`s cousin don`t forget and frat brother. They are one.

I was reading about the Ann Coulter plagiarism thing - if true, that will really do a lot of damage to her reputation. Nothing worse than having your intellectual property stolen for profit - I sincerely hope any affected parties sue her.

firstly, yes many canadians were in the vietnam war but they joined the US military. Canada did NOT send any troops to vietnam

and i'm going to take a page out of the republicans and say that michael moore did not say those things. michael moore is a very intelligent man and he has the balls to say what many of us are thinking. his research is well done. i don't care what anyone thinks, that man does a lot of good and makes those of us with brains actually use it.

I agree. I said he makes some valid points. I didn't say I agree with him 100%. He chooses a stance and then defends it blindly, kind of what Limbaugh et. al. do. But a lot of what he says makes sense to me. Now, his belief that O.J. Simpson did not kill his ex-wife and her friend, that's something I definately disagree with. But his statement to the German people that Americans are ignorant of the rest of the world, I largely agree with that. I wish that thing wasn't flash cause then I'd C&P to further illustrate what I'm trying to say.

Um. I just watched that and I have absolutely no problem with anything he said. I take no issue with anything except maybe the idea that the smartest American is dumber than the dumbest Canadian, which was obviously a joke anyway.

Michael Moore has said a lot of incendiary things and I am no fan of his Republican-style propagandizing. However, they seem to have chosen several rather tame quotes of his.

I did really, really enjoy the dramatic music though.

I was not having ago at you. On the whole i like Michael`s work and think he is a pretty smart guy and he does some good. Of course he is not perfect but i would not personally put him in with the likes of Coulter. There are Republicans who are smart and Democrats who are smart but sadly the problem is when people do like you say have their team and follow that team rather than their sense of right and wrong. The "war is bad when Bush does it but not when Clinton does it" type of attitude. However i have heard Michael Moore speak out on this issue himself and after all i am sure we all remember him winning an election with a Ficus plant.

I just weep that the likes of Michael Moore and Ann coulter seem to define debate in this country
