Hello guys!!

So grateful, got the very famous pink slip!!! :dance::dance::dance: Thank you all for all the help!

My interview was last July 30 @ 7AM and here's my experience

Woke up early around 4am since have to have time to dry my hair, forgot my blower! toink .. Hired a taxi and arrived at the embassy @ exactly 5:45. I have learned that you will not be served on a first come first serve basis because the guards will be asking your interview time and those with earlier schedule will enter the embassy first. So even if i arrived later than those with 8AM schedule, i entered the embassy first.

Immediately after the entrance, you will find a waiting area before you can enter the embassy building. You will be lead by the guards, so no need to worry. Upon entry, all will be scanned, so make sure not to bring any electronic devices-Cellphones,USB, camera etc. Inside you will be asked to go to a booth for your number. After which, take your seat and wait for your number or your name to be called. Your name will be called for finger scanning, and your number for the interview, so listen and be attentive. Finger scanning or pre screener interview could either come first. In my case, was interviewed by pre screener first then finger scan. The pre screener questions were;

Who is your petitioner ? How old is he? What is his job? Has he visited you?

Then she asked for any pictures, gave her the proof of meeting folder which contains our pictures.

After the pre screener interview, waited for hmmnn 30mins for finger scanning. Then waited for around 45 mins for the Consul's interview. PATIENCE ...... just a few hours to finish this step so have to be patient :thumbs:

My Consul is a young handsome american, cant take my eyes out of him, was just amazed how young he is for doing that kind of job. He greeted me " Magandang Umaga''. Kumusta ka ?'' Answered back in tagalog. He asked me to raise my hands and swear. Pause, scanned my papers and asked me to wait while he typed. His questions were;

Who is your petitioner ? What is his job? Have you been married before ? Has he been married before? Then have me looked at my picture and asked, Is this him? said YES! with a big SMILE :D

He scanned my papers again, hmmn as if dont know what to do next hahaha maybe conscious, kidding! hahaha. Then he said, m' your papers are great and no problem. Your Visa is approved, Welcome to America and enjoy your marriage!!

I said. Thank you so much! a BIG SMILE again :D

Went outside the room (Consul's interview is inside a small room) and was lead to a counter where my folder was handed back to me and asked me to pay @ the Air21 booth for the delivery of my visa. My visa arrived yesterday August 4. :dance:

My interview went very smooth and i couldnt have done it well without you guys.. so THANK YOU SO MUCH!

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord,help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.
