Good morning all

As the CSC seems to be sending out the long awaited NOA-2 forms I thought I had best get prepared for the next phase. I know from previous answers that I can submit my DS-3032 form by email.

Also my daughter can pay for the I-864 and the Visa fee online.

Now can anyone explain how to do this once we have received the case number from the NVC?

We are checking the NVC phone number using our WAC number 'just in case' they have received our information.

We are being as proactive as possible but want to know how to proceed with the online stuff.

My daughter has the AOS forms ready to send along with supporting documentation.

We completed the DS-230 forms and clipped all the documentation together, along with a cover sheet, and these were received by our daughter yesterday.

Is there ANYTHING we have forgotten or is there anything at all we could do now in preparation?

I hope this posting will be of help to all those on Tayrivers list!

Best wishes

Richard

Hi Richard,

It seems like you have really educated yourself on the process. If you have all the paperwork done, all you need to do is attach the cover sheets that the NVC will provide 3 days after the fees are paid online. The cover sheets have bar codes on them and must be attached on top of your document packets.

Good luck.

Aaron

Morning Richard,

Keep calling the NVC, dont just listen to the AVR, talk to a person. Keep asking if your case has been entered into the system yet? Once the case number has been asigned the agent will ask for email addresses for you and your daughter. Once they have those they will generate the DS3032 email and it will be sent to both of you. Once the DS3032 has been accepted they will email the AOS fee bill and the DS230 bill request to your daughter, she will then follow the instructions in the email on how to pay both bills. Once the bill are paid she will go back to the payment site 2 - 3 days later and they shouls both show as "PAID" she can then print out the Barcode cover sheets for each case and attach it to the papers you have already got prepared. Then she has to mail them.

Hope this helps

Where is the payment site? Is that advised in the email from the NVC?

I have just got to be ready for the next phase. The summer wait has made sure we were very well prepared.

It is our Grandson's first birthday on Friday and a year since this all began.

My daughter applied for her Citizenship in September and I bought our house in October.

Looking back it has moved very quickly considering a year ago today we had no intention of moving at all!

Those tiny blue eyes made all the difference!

Best wishes to all

Richard

p.s. Any more tips gratefully received!

The email from the NVC will have the URL for the payment site, They also give you a invoce number and that is what gets you access to the payment site, without that number you can not open the site.

Have a look here you will find loads of info.

Yes I understand about the blue eyes... it wins everytime. My parents are spending there last day with all the family, so they are feeling a bit sad today, tomorrow they leave for Glasgow and a overnight stay at the airport hotel the on to Boston on friday... I am busy organizing "Welcome Home" banners and ballons.

You will soon be at that same stage, just be prepared for it to be a very emotional time..

Thanks for the links Tay.

We are so envious of your parents flying to Boston. We have been there many times and always visit Fenway Park. The Sox are a passion!

Have not been though since the likes of Pedro and Nomar were playing.

Back to topic...!

We are well aware of the sadness but we are not allowing any family to the airport on the day! We will be totally preoccupied anyway with ensuring our little dog is well looked after for the trip. Goodness we have had to get more paperwork ready for him than for us!

I can imagine how excited you will be on the day. Please give your folks our best wishes.

They are saying their goodbyes today to everyone. They have booked a minivan to take them and all 8 cases!!!! to the airport so they wont have to deal with all the tears when the time comes to go through security.

I am very excited and cant wait for Friday to be here. I will pass on your good wishes to them both..
