I chose #1. I like simple. If this is for your wedding, have you looked at bridesmaid dresses that come in white? There are a lot of beach appropriate options plus they tend to cost less than the "destination" wedding dresses.

We are not having any attendants at all. There is a small chance that this will be a private ceremony with just the two of us and the justice of the peace. At the most we will have maybe 20 family members attend.

I've already done the "big wedding." I am looking forward to our intimate ceremony. We are writing our vows and everything!

I'd say #1 for looks, but #3 for practicality. While #1 definitely looks nicer, the dress part hangs lower than #3. That's true of #2, as well. If you're going to be on a beach, I'd recommend a dress with a shorter length. You could always have #1 modified, of course. But assuming you'd take those dressed "as is", I'd go with #3.

I think she ment more in looking at some of the bridemaids dresses in white for you, as they have a bunch of cute shorter styles that you may like as well.

Gotcha. I did do a search for Bridesmaid dresses in white at David's bridal. I didn't see anything that I was interested in. I dread going to a bridal shop because (1) I hate shopping, (2) I am likely to fall in love with a very expensive dress and then totally blow my money (3) taking my kids to a bridal shop is a bad idea . . .

it depends

if u have a pear shape, then number 2 would be best

if u are more evenly proportioned, then my choice would be number 3, number one is a little too simple

I liked number 2 for a beach wedding - it seemed to fit the outdoor sand and sun and water environment. For an indoor wedding I would have chosen number 1. All 3 of them, however, are lovely.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

#2. I love how it looks kinda scrunched up at the chest, and I like the straps. I also think it looks lighter in weight compared to the others. I'm also a sucker for dresses that kinda poof out instead of stay close to the legs.

NOT #3. I love it the most, but for a beach wedding, it would create too many minor annoyances (esp if you're in the sand).

I just found that there was tonnes more selection in white/ivory bridesmaids dresses than there were in "destination" - i.e. not gigantic - bridal gowns. They tended to be cheaper too.

You're right though, I didn't like much at David's bridal at all. I just picked out two or three dresses that I liked online and made a trip to the nearest bridal shop that had them.

I like #1 because it's simple and timeless. #2 is nice, but I find a-line waists can sometimes make us look wider than we want. If you have the bod, definitely go for #1!!
