what's in packet 3? i know that they don't send out packet 4 any longer but i'm not sure exactly on what's included in packet 3. thanks for your time.

K1 Timeline Visa

APRIL 8, 2009 - The Journey Begins....

1 DAY - USCIS Received Application

99 DAYS - I-129F Application Approved

114 DAYS - NVC Received Package

118 DAYS - Package left NVC

125 DAYS - USEM received package

138 DAYS - Medical Exam from April 8, 2009

147 DAYS - Interview Passed

174 DAYS - POE

AOS Timeline

JANUARY 8, 2010 - AOS Application Sent

11 DAYS – NOA Hardcopy Received (AOS, EAD, AP)

15 DAYS – Biometrics Appointment Letter Received

31 DAYS – Biometrics Appointment @ 12:00 pm

52 DAYS – EAD Approved

59 DAYS – Employment Authorization Card & Advance Parole (Travel Docs) Received

67 DAYS – Adjustment of Status Approved

tnx for making this thread,ive been meaning to ask what's in the packet 3.. and oh , how long does it usually take to get the packet 3? i wasnt assigned a MNL number by the NVC

11-09-10 Interview 10 AM >Approved

11-09-10 oath 2 PM Fairfax, VA

03.30.2011 -------ASC Appointment Notice Received

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

how long does it usually take for the beneficiary to get the packet 3? :)

NVC told me our file was sent to the USEM last 31st of july, any thoughts on like an estimated time to get it? and NVC told me to give the USEM a call, can i learn on that phonecall if i can already schedule an interview or something as i think the letter from the embassy will most probably take sometime to get here, and may cause more delay

you , the beneficiary will receive the packet 3 ; my packet 3 arrived anout 3 weeks after NOA2 ; good luck on your journey .
