Employer Letter for interview...

I am a self-employed contractor, and i have contracted my work from the same company for 3.5 years. As i understand it, i should not need a letter from my employer because i am self-employed, however, i have decided to go ahead and get one just in case.

My question is, what exactly should the letter say? Obviously it should say how long said company has provided me with work, but anything else?

Any info is appreciated.

Since you are self-employed, you need three years of tax returns.

If you are doing work for the same company, then the 1099's will help as well.

As far as a letter, make sure it is on a company letterhead, and just have the company state the likelyhood of your continued association with his/her company, and the type and amount of expected work you will do for them.

Can't hurt, eh? I just did the three years tax returns, and we had no problem.
