Infopass is a complete waste of time, you are treated, at least us, like #######, call your senators office. Wasn't that Hilary's job? Our friend was in Illinois, Obama was nowhere to be found, so she had no luck, they finally got around to her.

I also know Dave Obey personally, known him for years, your congressman, but he was way to busy running for re-election that he has to do every two years, thank goodness Russ wasn't running for re-election at the same time, probably will still be waiting, also know Russ. They both met my wife, Connie, and commented what an angel she is. After I contacted Russ, received an e-mail with her oath letter we could use, oath was scheduled three days later. Said I could print that out, tried my best to clean it up, our St. Paul could use a new scanner, or at least clean off the glass from theirs. But it worked. Good luck, be nice, and also try your congressman, or is that person.

Ironically, two of my wife's questions were to name her senator and her congressperson, maybe a trick question, she didn't have problems answering that.

Oh, by law your senator or congressperson can only make an inquiry on your behalf and to do so, the applicant has to sign a release first. As we already have done that for the I-751 it was on file, but had to be mailed to us and returned. If you call, you politely ask if they can make an inquiry for you with a very brief reason as to why. For our I-751, we were already five months after the posted processing dates, for the N-400, got my wife to get a commitment that she should get the oath letter within two weeks, I let four weeks go by. As the USC natural born and all that stuff, preferred to make these calls myself, as hey, this is my wife be threatened! But she had to sign the release.

I went for my interview on June 4th; was told to expect a letter in approximately 3 weeks, and I finally received the letter on July 15, over a month after my interview.

Sorry you had a bad experience with the IO. I guess I got lucky that I got my interview in Garden City and I was interviewed by a pleasant lady.

I was desperate checking my PO Box every single day before I got the letter so I know how you feel. I would recommend you to wait for a few days and call your senator. Keep us posted, good luck. :star:

It has only been 14 days - you were advise you would receive your decision my mail - personally, I think it is too soon to be getting a senator involved. Your comment in your post is "we are happly married couple.so nothing wrong on that side even i pass my interview", so, it would seem you have nothing to worry about. Just show a little more patience.

I am wondering becuase today i call customer service center of USCIS and the lady name traca told me it iwll take 120 days to get an oath letter. so may be after 1 month if i involve senator is that ok? DO the USCIS people will reply to senator for my case or it is fix 120 days wait time.

I would wait at least a month before you contact your senator, what they were trying to tell you when you call the USCIS was that it may take up to 120 days to get their letter. You will get it soon do not worry . :)

If you don't receive your oath letter in 120 days, you can take them to court, kind of like biting the hand that feeds you. Also, very expensive.
