Just a quick update

I went to the post office today and i was talking to the postmaster there. She informed me that they got a new postwoman 2 weeks ago and as the old postwoman didnt update her that i was living at my address she therefore would have sent back any USCIS mail. I added myself again to this addy and should get USCIS from now on. Damn postal people. I thought the old postwoman had gone on holidays as you do in the summertime!!!!!.I rang USCIS service center and explained. They were like tough ###### i have to wait another 9 days before they can send the rfe again. I will also miss my EAD biometrics because USCIS wont send that letter out wither until 30 days have passed.

On the plus side we will have our tax returns for 2004 and 2005.

I-751 - Removal of conditions

10-20-2008 - Sent package via usps - overnite mail

10-22-2008 - Package received and signed.

10-28-2008 - Cheque cashed

12-02-2008 - Biometrics in Boston

10-03-2009 - Transferred to CSV

10-04-2009 - 10 year GC on the way

I can remember my single experience with InfoPass. I made one slightly after my naturalisation interview (2005-3-22) to find out when my swearing-in would roughly be (as I had to avoid having this in May 2005 when I would be travelling out of country). It indeed was a waste of time--I could get neither the information I needed.

2005/07/10 I-129F filed for Pras

2005/11/07 I-129F approved, forwarded to NVC--to Chennai Consulate 2005/11/14

2005/12/02 Packet-3 received from Chennai

2005/12/21 Visa Interview Date

2006/04/04 Pras' entry into US at DTW

2006/04/15 Church Wedding at Novi (Detroit suburb), MI

2006/05/01 AOS Packet (I-485/I-131/I-765) filed at Chicago

2006/08/23 AP and EAD approved. Two down, 1.5 to go

2006/10/13 Pras' I-485 interview--APPROVED!

2006/10/27 Pras' conditional GC arrives -- .5 to go (2 yrs to Conditions Removal)

2008/07/21 I-751 (conditions removal) filed

2008/08/22 I-751 biometrics completed

2009/06/18 I-751 approved

2009/07/03 10-year GC received; last 0.5 done!

2009/07/23 Pras files N-400

2009/11/16 My 46TH birthday, Pras N-400 approved

2010/03/18 Pras' swear-in

---------------------------------------------------------------------

As long as the LORD's beside me, I don't care if this road ever ends.

I am sorry to hear what a mess of postal service is...

But, you got 2004 and 2005 tax returns while you were waiting.... so I hope that you can solve the RFE quickly and your case return to the rail

Just a quick update,

I had a second infopass today. This time the immigration officer was very friendly and polite. She checked my case records from their side. I explained the whole sorry story to her. She sent an email to Lee's summit,MO to request they send the rfe again. So lets hope they do indeed send it out. At this stage we are seriouslty considering hiring a lawyer.

I wont be ringing those monkies we call the mis infomation line. They told me this morning that i had to wait 2 more weeks for them to send out the rfe due to one of their agents sending me out the rfe when i called on the 5th of july.

Finally some good news. The rfe is been sent again.I got the update on the website. Finally we can move forward and tackle whatever the rfe is. It has added 6 weeks to the case none the less.

So thank you to that immigration officer i saw last monday in manchester. She was the first person who really helped. I wrote a letter last week praising her for helping me, some positive customer feedback so it worked.
