Our Interview is Wednseday and I am so nervous.

mostly becuz we don't have much in my name cept magazine subscriptions.

The house Mortgage is still in his name until we re-do the mortgage next month.

All the bills are in his name.

I don't drive so don't have a car or insurance in my name.

His Militray Life Insurance is in my name tho don't know if that will help.

Have tons of Pictures 1375 from our wedding and about 25 from Christmas.

Christmas Cards & Envelopes addressed to both of us.

Personal Letters addressed to me from friends.

Junk mail adressed to me

A letter from the Air Force AeroSpace Museum to us both , thanking us for Volunterring ( we volunteer every weekend.)

We haven't done his Taxes yet cuz he's been working 12 hr shifts 8 days straight. (He gets tomorrow off so hopefully we can do that)

He has his W 2s and stuff.

He has his Military records with pay stubs on that but where he works now , they said they don't write letters of Employment. ( he's gonna ask the head dude.)

His pay is direct deposit.

We have a joint savings/checking/Visa account but not much in that one cuz we rarely use it.

I have the Vacination document but not the supplement. ( before we sent our AOS application in, we made an info pass and took all of it down there. I had the guy go over everything and asked him if we were missing anything and he said "Not a thing. " I asked about the supplement and he said I have my vacination record from my Medical so thats good enough.

We have all the other documents like marriage cert, Birth certs, etc...

But I still feel uneasy about it all. Like I need more stuff. :(:help:

Wow! You have loads of stuff, no need to worry! All I had for proof was a joint bank account statement, a joint car insurance policy and that was it! I also brought the wedding album which the interviewer took a few photos from and I also gave her a few letters I had addressed to myself at our address. Good Luck, you have more than enough evidence!

i think your joint checking/savings with direct deposit and the insurance with your name on it will be good enough...then you have the other stuff as supporting proof

my husband had his interview in january...we "flew" with joint banking and direct deposits, insurance... health, life, car, home.

that was it. all the bills are in my name including the mortgage. we brought nothing else

Lily,

Good luck and I hope all goes well. I think if you have letters or even christmas cards shown to both of you that would be great as well as what evidence you will show. Will be thinking of you.

All should go ok...

DON'T BE NERVOUS AT THE INTERVIEW!

You need to be cool and collected....

Don't give the interviewer any reason to question you or your husband. Be confident, know the answers to the important typical questions and answer each question as asked without volunteering more information than required.

Best of luck ....

Thanks for the replies.

My Hubby called me from work to tell me that his boss wrote up an Employment letter. He said it was really hard getting anyone there to do this. Practically had to beg for it.

but at least thats one more thing we have.

Were way above the poverty guidlines tho si it should be OK.

I'm not in the least bit worried that the officer will suspect I've married for the wrong intentions. My hubby and I have been together for 5 yrs , so its not like a new relationship.

Good luck to you both for Wednesday, Raphael.

As you read in my post, I got my AOS approved last week and there should be no reason why you should not have a positive outcome too.

Thanks for your good wishes, which are certainly reciprocated

Don't worry about it. As people on this site have told me so many times over when I worry, USCIS knows that each person's case is different and not everyone will have the same evidence.

I think you're going to be just fine!

Your interview is the same day as mine! The dreaded February 15th ;)

Here's hoping we'll both be reading one another's success stories, eh?

GOOD LUCK!
